Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry slams Briana DeJesus’ ‘lies’ & insists she was ‘NOT intimidated’ by her joining Teen Mom 2
TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry called out Briana DeJesus for her "lies" on the Family Reunion show and insisted that she was "not intimidated" by her joining the franchise.
The reality stars have been in an ongoing battle, which Briana addressed on the spin-off series, despite Kailyn's absence.
The drama continued between the girls after MTV posted a deleted scene from the first episode of Teen Mom: Family Reunion in which Briana, 27, discussed her feud with Kailyn, 29.
"I think it all stemmed from me being the fifth girl added to Teen Mom [2]," Briana explained in a testimonial from the previously un-aired clip.
"Then I started talking to her ex-husband [Javi Marroquin] and I think that just was like the icing on the cake and then she hated me ever since."
Briana added to the other girls when the scene cut back that she thought Kail may have been "intimidated" by her, before Leah Messer walked off with Briana and told her she hoped they'd work it out.
Kailyn was fuming over her co-star's assumptions and cleared the air on the latest episode of her podcast.
"That is the furthest thing from the truth," Kailyn began, recounting how she was "friendly" with Briana and her sister before they joined the cast.

"I want to get into detail here because when this occurred, the original plan for Teen Mom 2 at the time was for me to fly down to Orlando and do a scene introducing Bri and Brittany to the Teen Mom 2 cast.
"They [MTV producers] knew that we had previously quote unquote hung out when we got surgery and Brittany and Nova came to my 23rd birthday in Orlando a prior year.
"And so they knew there was some type of friendly relationship and so they called me to go down to Florida and introduce her to Teen Mom.
"Those plans ended up falling through, but Brittany called me prior to them announcing it and was like, 'Hey just wanted to give you a heads-up that we are joining Teen Mom 2' and I was like 'oh awesome' like I had no issues with this."
Kailyn circled back to Briana's comments in the deleted scene, insisting that she had no problem with Briana's addition to the show.
"So what she is saying is a complete lie. It's complete b****t. I did not care that she was coming to Teen Mom 2 and intimidated by who? I'm not intimidated by anyone.
SECRET COUPLE
The young mom then shut down Briana's claims that the pair's feud began when Briana formed a romantic relationship with her ex-husband and co-parent Javi Marroquin.
"So then, fast-forward to the dating Javi thing. Neither one of them were honest with me of what their relationship status was, that they were actually in a talking stage, they were not just friends.
"They were in a talking situation, they were going to date. They started dating and they were not honest about it, so that was my second issue," she angrily recalled.
DEFAMATION LAWSUIT
Kailyn then clarified why she sued Briana for defamation back in June after claiming her co-star “asserted that Kailyn physically beat Christopher Lopez, the father of two of Lowry's sons, and broke into and entered the home of Mr. Lopez's mother.”
"My third issue is...so, let me just say this: People are still confused about the lawsuit between me and Briana. She got on Instagram Live, a public platform where she publicly accused me of felonies I never committed," she explained.
"I don't care who she heard from, she said it was Chris [Lopez] and then she said it was production and then I don't really know the order the sequence of events. She gets on Instagram Live and says this and is wondering why am I filing a lawsuit?
Kailyn's rant continued as she bashed Briana for her comments in the Family Reunion episode, claiming she still had yet to speak to her privately over their past disputes.
"And then [she] goes on national television - or in this case, a deleted scene on Instagram - says that she doesn't understand and we can work this out privately or whatever she claims up on her own Instagram.
"She has never said the things she said on TV or in her own Instagram post to me personally. She has never publicly or privately apologized to me or tried to talk to me about what she said and what she did.
She continued: "At what point do I get to defend my name and file a lawsuit when you are literally accusing me of felonies? Like that is the part that everyone is missing.
"I have never broken in to anyone's house ever. I don't care who told you that. So, that's how I felt about that, how she portrays it to be about Javi and I hated her ever since, that is complete bulls**t.
BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE
Kailyn's podcast host, Lindsie Chrisley then interjected to praise fellow Teen Mom star Leah Messer for "walking away" when Briana brought up her beef with her BFF Kail.
Briana and Leah ended up speaking away from the group, where Leah explained why she didn't feel comfortable being involved with the conversation.
However, Lindsie commented that she felt that it would've been more "impactful" if Leah shared her feelings with the group rather than on the sidelines.
Kailyn concluded with her thoughts of Tuesday night's season premiere of the show saying: "Overall, I was a little disappointed in the show. I don't personally feel like it was worth watching but I'm gonna continue to watch just to recap. I definitely think it could've been a little better."
KAIL'S RESPONSE
Kailyn previously made her opinions about the episode known in the comments section of the official displaying the deleted scene.
"Absolutely not. This is bulls**t," she wrote. In a second comment, she added: "But yall can run me my check for talking about me at all & filming it."
Fans went wild over Kailyn's comments and her ability to make her presence known even though she wasn't one of the moms on Family Reunion.
"Name getting brought up not even being on the show. Briana always trying to start some sh*t," one wrote.
"Sounded like an uncomfortable situation!! love that Leah wanted nothing to do with the drama being presented and didn’t fall for the bait!" wrote another.
A fourth chimed in: Was this before or after the treadmill? You know how real life don’t sync up with the show #teamkail"
Kailyn personally responded: "[She] said we could work it out but no public or private apology for publicly accusing me of committing felonies I never committed. Got it, like nothing ever adds up w this sh*t."
TREADMILL
Recently, reported that Briana had allegedly sent Kailyn a treadmill before their court date was approaching.
According to new court documents, Kailyn was upset when the treadmill from Briana had arrived at her home.
In an email to Kailyn's attorney, Briana's attorney claimed that the treadmill “seems like an awfully expensive thing to send to someone as an insult.”
“If Ms. Lowry doesn’t want it, I could stand to lose a few pounds myself,” Briana’s attorney jokingly added.
The Sun can exclusively reveal the two are expected to face off in court on January 14, according to court papers.
The hearing is to rule on Briana’s anti-SLAPP motion, which protects a person’s freedom of speech, that was filed in August to have the case dismissed.
BRIANA'S CLAIMS
The drama began when Kailyn was excluded from the June 8, 2021 episode Teen Mom 2.
After the episode aired, Briana claimed Kailyn's absence was because she allegedly “committed violent, physical crimes towards Mr. Lopez.
"Defendant also asserted that Lowry was arrested for breaking and entering into the home of Mr. Lopez’s mother.”
However, Kailyn hit back that she did not break into Chris’ mother’s home or beat him up.
She claimed the statements “threaten” her “ability to earn a living" and requested $30,000, reasonable costs and attorneys’ fees and a jury trial.
Briana's lawyer called Kailyn’s lawsuit "meritless" and demanded she pays his client's legal fees.
He also requested the entire lawsuit be dismissed, arguing: "It is meritless and directed exclusively at protected speech on a matter of public concern brought for the purpose of harassing and trying to silence a critic.”
CHRIS TAKES SIDES
The Sun also reported Chris has also been dragged into the court war, as he has been served a subpoena in his baby mama’s case against Briana.
According to Delaware courts, Chris was issued the subpoena, which orders a person to appear in court, testify or produce documentation, on September 16.
