Coronation Street viewers in stitches at Bernie Winter’s VERY cheeky overshare – leaving Joseph and Hope stunned
CORONATION Street viewers were left amused by Bernie Winter's cheeky overshare tonight.
The character - played by Jane Hazlegrove - was looking after Joseph and Hope following the former's safe return after going missing.
As the children sat on the sofa, Bernie came through from the kitchen and made a surprising revelation.
She said: "Right you two, I'm just going to have a quick whazz and then I'll find something for you to watch on the tele."
Bernie continued on up the stairs as the kids looked at each other, while viewers were amused by the slang word for going to the toilet.
Taking to Twitter one wrote: "The mental image of Bernie wazzing has put me off supper."
Another added: "Bernie just kills me."
A third tweeted: "Bernie wants a waz thanks for telling us."

While Bernie was gone, Hope asked Joseph what he had done with his share of the money Clint had given them to keep them quiet so he could claim the £30,000 reward put up by Weatherfield residents to find the youngster.
While Joseph said he hadn't spent any of his yet, Hope revealed she had used some of hers to buy a backpack full of sweets.
When Joseph asked what his cousin was going to do with it all, she said she was going to take the confectionery to school and sell it to make more cash.
Joseph said he might spend his to buy some cool trainers so the bullies at school would leave him alone.
But Hope warned him: "Make sure you don't tell anyone where you got the money from, it's a secret, remember?"
However, the pair got a shock when they realised Bernie had come back downstairs and asked: "What's a secret?"
