SISTER Wives fans accused Kody Brown of "playing the victim" after he claimed that it was Christine's "betrayal" that led to the pair's divorce.
Christine, 49, announced in November 2021 that she decided to part ways from her husband after nearly three decades together.

The former couple's rocky relationship has played out on recent episodes of the TLC show, filmed prior to their split.
Fans watched what may have been the last straw for Christine on the latest episode of Sister Wives where she banned Kody from sleeping in their bedroom.
Christine previously voiced her concerns about the pair's lack of intimacy in their marriage prompting her decision to stop his sleepovers.
In the clip, a confused Kody revealed his thoughts about Christine's decision to the camera saying he's unsure "if this is a phase or if this is just an awakening."
In a confessional interview, Kody further explained his feelings revealing that Christine "has been telling wives and adult children that she wants to leave me for years."
He then continued to bash his wife's claims that they have not been romantically close saying it's "because she murdered our intimacy with betrayal."

Following the episode, angry fans took to Twitter to slam Kody's words as several called him out on "playing the victim."
While others on slammed Kody for his reaction towards his wife's needs as one mocked him writing: "Yes, when she discusses her issues with others it’s a ‘betrayal'."
A second person agreed commenting: "He accuses Christine of playing games. He completely seems to believe that she is being dramatic or unreasonable."
LACK OF INTIMACY
Previously, in a teaser for the episode shared by , Christine opened up about a difficult conversation she had with Kody, 52, about the "intimate side" of their relationship.
Following a tough conversation with Kody, Christine said in a confessional: “He goes, 'I'm not interested in having an intimate marriage anymore. I don't like your behavior. We'll see if you can be a good sister wife,' and all this.
"I'm like, 'Okay, so you don't want us to have an intimate marriage?' And he goes, 'No.' I'm like, 'That's not enough for me. I can't not have an intimate marriage.'"
Kody told Christine he knows plenty of couples that aren’t intimate in their marriage, though Christine insisted she needs more from the Brown patriarch.
Christine then wondered if their relationship was “over,” adding: “I don’t know what to do.”
The star later said it’s unfair that Kody got to have “intimate marriages” with his other wives.
In addition to Christine, Kody is married to Meri, 50, Janelle, 52, and Robyn, 43.
'SHATTERED'
As the clip continued, Christine admitted she was “heartbroken” and said her heart was “shattered.”
She also admitted to knowing for a while about the problems in their marriage, with Kody even telling her that he’s no longer attracted to her.
Christine continued: “I just thought that maybe it would get better, but it’s over.
“The intimate part of our marriage is over and, to be honest, I’m not okay with that.
“I’m not okay with staying in a marriage where there’s no intimacy. That’s not a real marriage.”
Another teaser- which was shared by - showed Christine sobbing about how to break the news of the split to their kids.
The former partners share six kids together: Aspyn, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.
MOVING ON
Christine confirmed her split from Kody in a statement on social media in November.
She said at the time: "After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave."
The divorce came after Christine had expressed on the show that she wanted to return to Utah.
These days, Christine seems to be happy about her decision to leave her marriage as she recently thanked her fans on TikTok for their support and discussed the courage she needed in order to walk away.
The TV star explained: "Becoming a bad a** was an important step for me to make," before revealing the advice that her mother gave her.
"She was saying you have to listen to your heart and make a decision based on joy. But listen to your heart and really go deep into who you are as a person and then make that decision."
She continued: "People are gonna know my business. Anything that I decide to do since I'm public people are gonna know."
Christine's mother chimed in: "So what? Make a decision for yourself and then go with that."
The TV personality is now focused on "doing the next right thing."
NEW WIVES?
Meanwhile, Kody has been going through rough patches with several of his other wives as well.
Meri was seen celebrating her 51st birthday without Kody and recently complained in an episode of the show, "Nobody is fighting for our family".
While Janelle was said to be seriously contemplating leaving her husband of 28 years.
A source told : "He is not happy with the other wives threatening to leave.
“He’s considering starting fresh with new wives.”
