EMMERDALE fans are convinced Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield will reunite after they forgave each other.
The former lovers - who are played by actors Emma Atkins and Michelle Hardwick in the ITV soap - split two years ago after Charity kissed Mackenzie Boyd while Vanessa battled cancer.
With Vanessa’s recent return to the village, it took until tonight for things to thaw between the woman.
They met up in tonight’s episode for a kids play date.
But as the kids played - the former couple bonded over the kids - and started to speak about their split.
Vanessa told her: “I think what I’m working my way around to saying is - I’m sorry.
“I know, pretty epic. It just feels like it’s time.”
“Same goes, obviously,” replied Charity.

“I’m ashamed of how I handled pretty much everything.”
Vanessa even said she was glad Charity had got serious with Mackenzie after meeting him.
“He’s cute, he’s funny, I saw him in the cafe,” she said.
But Charity told her: “He’ll have been stirring no doubt, he’s been tattling onto Ryan like some neurotic old woman about you.
“He feels majorly threatened. I said he’s got nothing to worry about that you and me are over.
“But he’s jealous so what are you going to do?”
The flirty scenes have fans convinced Charity and Vanessa will reunite sooner rather than later.
