KATIE Price appeared full of remorse as she addressed her drink-drive car crash on her new TV show, admitting she could have killed herself.

Filming was halted on Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion last year following the incident as she spent 30 days getting treatment at The Priory.

In upcoming scenes, Katie is seen returning to her home to resume the makeover and explains what happened – vowing to turn her life around after “hitting rock bottom”.

She says: “I mean I can deal with a lot of things, stress, pressure, I breathe that. Behind closed doors there’s drama, no ones life is perfect.

“When it hits me personally, that’s what I can’t deal with. I regret getting in the car, I could have killed someone. I could have killed myself. My kids might not have had a mum. It’s awful.

“I was rock bottom at that point. It was a wake up call. I don’t want to be in that situation again. In fact I don’t want to be in a situation where I feel that sad inside that I need to just go and do something, be destructive and hurt people around me because I don’t know how to cope with it.

“I have now decided to see a therapist every week for the rest of my life and put my hand up and say yeah I need help, help me.”

The mum-of-five continues: “So, although there’s situations going on, I am still alive, yes there are consequences for what I have done but I just want to breathe. My house is now turning into the family home that I couldn’t focus on before for years. And now I am turning it back to my home, my hub, it’s all about the future and getting to the next stage.”

Last month, Katie avoided jail for flipping her car in a drink-drive crash.

A judge slammed her for believing she is "above the law" but couldn't send her to prison because of a legal loophole.

Katie was driving to see a pal because she was "lonely" when she overturned her BMW in Horsham, West Sussex, in September.

She was already banned from driving when she got behind the wheel after taking cocaine and downing vodka and lemonades.

The star has been banned from driving six times in the last ten years after a series of infringements.

She has been in court on at least 16 occasions for her driving offences but has never once been to jail.
