NICK Cannon confirmed that he is expecting his eighth child with his fifth baby mama Bre Tiesi and admitted that he knew about it before his son Zen's death.

The Drumline actor said: "So even going through all of that, this was always in the back of my mind, like, 'What is the right time? How do I share this?'
"No one, we didn't expect Zen to pass away...All of the news was so unexpected."
The talk show host continued: "I wanted to definitely respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough — She held off making our announcements and speaking on social media."
"She's a very, you know, in the public eye type of person, but keeps her stuff private as well."
He added: "And it was just one of those things like, you know, I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to say when I was dealing with Zen or to hold off.
"Even right now, that it came out yesterday, that wasn't planned to talk about it. We wanted to, you know, hold on as long as we can, but it happened."

Nick concluded: "We here and I'm with my family I get to discuss it, I get to be open."
During the Pic of the Day segment, The Masked Singer host shared a snapshot from his baby shower with Bre.
HIS CHILDREN
The TV star is the father of seven children with four different women.
Nick and singer Mariah Carey, 51, are the parents of fraternal twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott, 10.
He shares Golden, four, and Powerful Queen, one, with model Brittany Bell, 34.
The Roll Bounce actor welcomed another set of twins, Zion and Zillion, with DJ Abby De La Rosa, 30, back in June 2021.
He also became the father of his baby boy Zen with model Alyssa Scott in June that same year.
'A SPECIAL SHOW'
Back in December 2021, the Love Don't Cost A Thing actor revealed his five-month-old son Zen had died from a brain tumor.
He said: “Over the weekend, I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus…brain cancer.
“It’s tough. And I have my therapist here, who’s been helping us through it.”
He went on: “We were hopeful, he was playing with his brothers and sisters. I embraced every moment.”
He praised Alyssa as the “strongest woman [he’s] ever seen."
Nick mentioned Zen was “loving and fun,” but his "tumor began to grow a lot faster.”
