THE Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar has revealed a DISGUSTING secret from the sitcom's set.
The 40-year-old actor played Raj Koothrappali in the hit sitcom for 12 seasons until 2019.
Appearing on Sunday Brunch at the weekend, Kunal spoke about a behind-the-scenes moment that could turn the stomach of even the most die-hard Big Bang Theory fan.
Kunal explained how the staircase in Sheldon, Leonard and Penny's apartment block didn't lead anywhere, and how the actors would have to hold their position when out of site so set designers could swap doors to reflect the different apartment floors.
He said: "The way it works is, you go down the stairs, and then they yell, 'Hold'. They change the scenery from like if the apartment says 1a it suddenly says 2a or 3.
"They change the set so it looks exactly like another floor."
He then revealed a shock fact about his co-star Johnny Galecki, who played Leonard.
Kunal said: "Down there is nothing, there's a wall there where Johnny Galecki, for 12 years, would stick his chewing gum on."

He continued: "I'm not joking. There's a wall of 3,000 dried chewing gum from Johnny Galecki.
"So if any of you are Johnny Galecki fans and you want his dried chewing gum, I am sure it's for sale somewhere on the internet. Welcome to Hollywood."
Kunal's comments on the show comes after fans were left shocked by his unrecognisable appearance in the trailer for Suspicion.
The actor set to appear alongside Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman in new thriller series Suspicion, which has been given a release date in early 2022.
It’s a very different role for Kunal than fans are used to seeing, with the new footage showing him under thorough investigation.
The eight-part series follows the aftermath of the abduction of a prominent US businesswoman's son - and the British actor looks like a completely new man.
Sunday Brunch airs Sundays on Channel 4.
