Coronation Street spoilers: Joseph Brown’s grandmother Linda arrives – and confronts Chesney about his ordeal
ALTHOUGH Joseph's disappearance is still fresh on his mind, Chesney Brown agrees to turn a leaf.
However, after burying the hatchet with Bernie, Linda Hancock's surprise arrival has him quaking in his boots as she confronts him over the ordeal in Coronation Street.
In scenes due on ITV next week, Chesney (played by Sam Aston) finally makes peace with Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) after her involvement in his son Joseph's (William Flanagan) disappearance.
Encouraged by her old friend Clint Stubbins, Bernie was hoping to cash in on the reward given to the person who was able to bring the young boy home after he went missing.
While matters are smoothed over, Chesney and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) are taken aback when Joseph's grandmother Linda (Jacqueline Leonard) calls at No.5.

Linda hasn't been seen on the cobbles since her last appearance in March, 2015, as she has built herself a life in Portugal.
She notably took care of Joseph following his mother Katy Armstrong's death in a car accident, in October, 2017.
Chesney then decided to take his son in with him, two years before welcoming quadruplets with Gemma.
This leads to Linda suggesting that it must be hard for him to cope with five kids but Chesney assures her that it's a doddle while Joseph stares at him with incredulity.
Unaware that Joseph ran away from home due to being bullied and feeling neglected by his father, Linda learns the truth in the Rovers when Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) tries to chat her up.
After Bernie makes a derisory comment, an annoyed Dev tells Linda all about Joseph's disappearance, especially the fact that Bernie tried to steal the reward money, put up in exchange of the boy's safe return home.
Linda is fuming upon discovering the truth and rushes to No.5.
