SHE was best known for being the nation’s favourite barmaid Gina Ward on Heartbeat.
Tricia Penrose, now 52, played the role for an incredible 18 years from 1993 to 2010 before taking a step back from the limelight.
These days the actress look a far cry from the 60's chic character as she takes a back seat as a radio presenter on Radio Wirral.
But she loves keeping her fans up to date as she spends time with her new man following her split from husband Mark Simpkin.
Tricia and TV host Mark, who share two children, split after 18 years of marriage.
The pair sold their fairytale wedding pictures to Hello! magazine in 2003 after a star-studded ceremony at Adlington Hall, Cheshire.

In 2013 Tricia wore her wedding dress again for the magazine as the couple renewed their vows.
She said at the time: “For us it was an opportunity to celebrate how our marriage has grown stronger and stronger.”
That year she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
Tricia is also known for appearances in Heartbeat spin-off The Royal, Brookside, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
In 2021 she also started working on some shows for BBC Radio 4.
ITV hit Heartbeat also starred Nick Berry, Mark Jordon and Billy Maynard, to name a few faces that appeared on it over the years.
