Sister Wives’ Kody Brown admits he’s ‘NOT speaking’ to sons & family ‘needs therapy’ after he vowed to ‘evict’ them
SISTER Wives star Kody Brown revealed he’s "not speaking" to his son Gabriel and Garrison after he promised to "evict" them from their home.
The 53-year-old reality star admitted his family “needs therapy” amid all of the feuding and the recent familial changes, including his split from wife Christine.
After threatening to kick out his and wife Janelle Brown’s sons over Covid protocols in a recent Sister Wives episode, Kody revealed in a look at Sunday’s new episode that things are still strained with his family.
He said in ’s sneak peek: “[We’re] not good. Not talking.
“It’s like one of those relationships where we’ve gotta do a lot of work.”
During the clip from the new One on One special with host Sukanya Krishnan, the 53-year-old said that he’s the one who decides on the rules and then the kids have to follow them, or else.
Kody said: “I understand that these two needed their social lives. I totally get it.
“But in this case, COVID is different.
“It’s changed everything for everybody, and they want it all to be the same.”

He continued: “They need to realize that they should go and date that girlfriend, that’s fine, but you need to move out of the house so I can be home.”
While reflecting on the fight he got into with his sons, as well as wife Janelle, over it all, he said: “We need therapy. I need a sit-down with my boys and get something straight.
"I’ve gotten to the point where I’m so angry about what happened that we’re not communicating. And I think they are too.”
This all comes after Janelle told her husband Kody to "f**k off" in a recent episode.
The Sister Wives star clashed with her husband over sons Gabrielle and Garrison socializing during the Thanksgiving holidays in an explosive argument.
The heated fight even ended with Janelle telling Kody to "f**k off."
The two clashed after he threatened to evict their sons from her home after they broke Covid rules.
Kody had previously set out strict Covid guidelines for his families on how to celebrate the holidays.
He told Janelle that she should be alone on Thanksgiving because her sons have been seeing too many people over the holidays and would put everyone else's health in jeopardy.
Kody told her to "respect" the "big picture" regarding his rules, but she said she didn't want to be alone and declared, "You know, f**k off," before storming off.
They also went head to head over Gabrielle, 23, and Garrison, 20, living in Janelle's house.
Kody thought they should move out because they had been breaking his Covid rules and if they remained at Janelle's, he wouldn't be able to go over.
Janelle said Garrison is saving up to buy a new house, but can't afford one yet due to the rising cost of real estate in Flagstaff.
Janelle added in a confessional: "This is a different day and age. You don't just kick your kids out of the house at 18 and say, hope you do good I'm done. I'm tired."
Furious viewers flocked to Reddit to condemn Kody's behavior towards his sons.
One wrote: "You don’t just stop being a parent when your kid hits a certain age!"
Another added: "Not only does he want to kick them out. He wants to do it in the middle of a pandemic."
The 53-year-old’s family has already gone through quite a few changes recently, as he and his wife Christine announced their split in November.
Back in October, The Sun exclusively reported that the Sister Wives star had moved into a $1.1m Utah duplex after selling the Arizona home she once shared with her ex-husband for $700,000.
A few weeks later, she announced her split from Kody on Instagram, writing: “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave.
"We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.
"At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family. With love, Christine Brown.”
She later revealed that she has had "good and bad" days while co-parenting with her ex and mentioned that she "hoped that they could still be friends."
