Dancing on Ice fans slam show as a ‘fix’ as Bez survives – and predict he will make the final
DANCING on Ice fans have slammed the show as a “fix” again after Bez survived another week – and they have predicted he will make the final.
Tonight S Club legend Rachel Stevens, 43, left the competition after an intense skate-off against BMX Olympian Kye Whyte, 22.
Despite the pair landing themselves in the bottom two, it was actually Bez who landed himself at the bottom of the leaderboard.
The Happy Mondays star scored just 20 out of 40 after his performance to I’m On My Way with pro skater Angela Egan.
Meanwhile the other two bagged higher scores than him – Rachel was given 24 points for her dance to If I Ain’t Got You, and Kye scored 30 out of 40 for his performance to Rasputin.
After Rachel was booted off the ITV competition, many took to Twitter to call the programme a “fix”.
One wrote: “How is Bez keep getting saved on #DancingOnIce complete fix as he’s absolutely terrible and not even entertaining to watch!”
A second added: “#DancingOnIce why is Bez still skating. He should have gone gone ages ago. He’s crap. Looks to me it’s a fix.”
Meanwhile others are convinced that the Happy Mondays star, real name Mark Berry, is going to win.
A third chimed in: “Won’t be surprised if Bez wins….he can’t skate and still in it thought it was a competition.”
“Bez voted through again. Should change the show title to Clowns on Ice, he’ll win it,” a fourth tweeted.
This isn’t the first time viewers have been left feel frustrated over their decision.
Earlier this week the show was in another fix row after viewers claimed Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse overmarked two contestants.
Last month they claimed that Stef Reid was also undermarked by the judges after the second instalment of the ITV show.
Before leaving the ice for the final time, Rachel said tonight: “Thank you so much to everyone.
“It’s so special for them to have been a part of it and to have shared it with them. I’d just had the best time, it’s been amazing.”
Referring to her pro skater partner she added: “I’m going to miss Brendyn the most.”
