Presenter Osman took to Twitter to share the clip from 2018, which showed contestant Billy repeatedly referring to the now-ex Met Police chief "Caressa Dick" when answering about the

He player was trying to guess the “Senior Police officer appointed the first female commissioner of the Metropolitan Police”.

Asked by host Alexander Armstrong for his final answer, he confidently replied: “The top is Caressa Dick. I think I’ll go for Caressa Dick.”

The bemused presenter then asked: ‘Okay, do you want to say that one more time?’

‘Caressa Dick,’ Billy repeated, with Alexander saying: ‘Okay, Caressa Dick,’ as Osman was seen stifling his laughter.

The resurfaced clip has been tending on social media platform after Cressida resigned as the Metropolitan Police commissioner.

Osman joked: "This is the closest Pointless has ever come to being taken off air." 

The host confirmed that Billy got the question right and added: "The lovely thing about this clip is that Billy really did make money from 'It'll Be Alright On The Night' for it. #CaressaDick #HappyEnding.”

It comes after the nation's top cop was warned she had just days to fix her force by London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Ms Dick has faced an avalanche of criticism over her handling of the Sarah Everard casehorrific WhatsApp messages sent by officers in her force, and the vile officers who took photos of murdered sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman.

She was also hauled over the coals for her handling of the Euro football final in July after disturbing scenes of violence outside Wembley Stadium were projected around the globe.

The veteran cop has been blasted over the ever-growing number of teenagers losing their lives to violence in the capital - with a total of 30 boys and young men killed in 2021 alone.

In a statement, she confirmed the mayor "no longer has confidence" in her leadership, and she had "no choice" but to step down.

She said: “It is with huge sadness that following contact with the Mayor of London today, it is clear that the mayor no longer has sufficient confidence in my leadership to continue.

"He has left me no choice but to step aside as Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service."
