DANCING On Ice has bid farewell to Happy Mondays' Bez after bowing out in musicals week.

Bez performed in a skate-off against Sally Dynevor, but faltered throughout Sunday's show, including his pro partner Angela Egan falling over as they fought to keep their place in the competition.

Happy Mondays' Bez paid tribute to rocker Meatloaf, who died last month, by performing to Bat Out of Hell from the musical of the same name.

He roared onto the ice on a motorbike which had been his "dream" since joining the ITV show.

Complete with the "biggest production ever" featuring pyrotechnics and fire bursting from the ground, the musician admitted it was to distract the judges from his minimal performance.

The percussionist completed his routine strapped into a set of giant bat wings and was lifted high above the ice.

Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor was marked down for seeming afraid during her dance to The Sound of Music.

While the judges commended her for getting braver and improving, they asked the actress to push herself even harder.

Other stars to impress included former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Walsh who got 9.5s acorss the board after her performance to Funny Girl's, Don't Rain On My Parade.

Another fan and judge favourite included Regan Gascoigne who got over his wobbles from last week to smash Can't Stop The Music from Hairspray.

Paralympian Stef Reid got rave reviews for her boost in confidence as she took on A Chorus Line.

Kye White channeled his inner-Charles Dickens with a skating rendition of Consider Yourself from Oliver.

He got one of his highest scores so far, with 43 in total from the judges.

"That was your best skate so far... it felt like you were living your dream," Christopher Dean told Kye.

It was not all smooth skating for The Vamps' Connor Ball who took a tumble while dancing to Les Miserables.

He managed to pick himself up and still get a pretty good score with Arlene giving him nine out of 10.

Sunday's show also saw the first ever 10 of the series given to Brendan Cole by his former Strictly co-star Arlene.

Brendan danced to Beggin from Jersey Boys alongside Brendyn Hatfield who stepped in last minute to replace Vanessa Bauer, who was forced to isolate this week.
