Well that's what happens in new Channel 5 drama The Holiday starring Jill Halfpenny.

Jill Halfpenny as Kate
Jill plays the lead role of Kate, who discovers her husband is having an affair with one of her friends.
You’ll recognise actress from soaps like Coronation Street, EastEnders, and Waterloo Road, as well as In the Club and The Drowning.
Jill shot to fame alongside Ant and Dec in kids show Byker Grove in the early 90s.
Owen McDonnell as Sean
Owen plays cheating husband Sean.
The actor has previously appeared in The Bay, where he played Frank Mercer.
But Owen is perhaps best known for starring in Killing Eve, where he plays Eve’s husband Niko.

Liv Mjones as Jenny
Liv plays one of Kate's long-standing friends who is on holiday with her.
The Swedish actress played Ulla in the horror film Midsommar, and Frida in Kiss Me.
She's also known for Modus, A Serious Game, and Tigers.
Siobhan Hewlett as Rowan
Siobhan plays Rowan, who is also a member of the friendship group that goes on holiday together.
The actress is known for playing Helen in the BBC One series Sherlock, and Tracey in Redemption, starring Jason Statham.
She also starred in The Syndicate, the TV mini-series Parade's End, and Penny in McDonald & Dodds.
Aidan McArdle as Alistair
Jenny's husband Alistair is played by Aidan McArdley.
The actor has also starred in Sense8, the film The Duchess, The Mallorca Files, The Trial of Christine Keeler, and Endeavour.
Fans of the Ella Enchanted will remember him as the elf Slannen, who helps Anne Hathaway's character in the movie.
Andrew Macklin as Russ
The character Russ is the husband of Kate's friend Rowan.
Elsewhere, and actor Andrew is known for playing Troy Dowling in Fair City, and Michael in the Doctor Who episode Ascension of the Cybermen.
He also played Tim Watkins in Doctors.
Cat Simmons plays Izzy
Actress Cat, who plays another one of Kate's friends, is known for playing DC Kezia Walker in The Bill.
She also played Becky Colter in Holby City.
Cat's other acting credits include Killing Eve, Silent Hours, Moving On, and Doctors.
The Holiday also stars newcomers Lara McDonnell and Aidan McCann as Kate and Sean's children.
When does The Holiday start on Channel 5?
The Holiday kicked off on Channel 5 on March 1, 2022 at 9pm.
The series has four episodes in total.
