Kim Kardashian declared officially SINGLE amid nasty divorce despite ex Kanye West’s objections
KIM Kardashian has been declared officially SINGLE amid her nasty divorce despite ex Kanye West’s objections.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum filed for divorce from the rapper in February 2021.
One year after their split, Kim has officially become a single woman.
confirmed Kim is now single following the court showdown on Wednesday.
Kim attended the hearing on a video call, while Kanye was not present.
YE'S CONDITIONS
According to the outlet, Kanye's lawyer did not object to restoring Kim's single status.
However, the lawyer revealed Kanye had three conditions.
The judge granted the first condition, which was that "any right to get reimbursement of money was intended to be divided up will be preserved in case either of them dies."
The second condition - which the judge rejected - was that the reality star would not transfer any assets she had in trust.
Additionally, if Kim remarries Kanye wants her to waive the "marital privilege"- meaning that a new spouse would not have to testify about communications he had with her.

The judge also denied the rapper's final condition.
A source close to Kanye , 44, told TMZ that he wanted the divorce to be granted.
Due to the ruling, the rapper is now a single person as well.
The process wasn’t easy, as the 41-year-old reality star dealt with plenty of drama before she faced off against her ex in court on Wednesday.
Kanye had objected to Kim's desire to be legally single out of concerns the star may move some of their assets to her separate accounts if she decides to remarry.
KANYE'S ATTACKS
While the exes initially appeared to be on good terms following their split, Kim and Kanye hit a breaking point when the rapper starting attacking the KUWTK star and her boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28, on social media.
In the past few weeks, the Donda rapper has accused Kim of kidnapping their daughter Chicago, slammed her parenting of their daughter North and claimed she thinks he's put a hit out on her.
He has also called Pete a "d**khead", threatened to "beat his a**" and accused the Saturday Night Live comedian of trying to "destroy" his family.
KIM'S PLEAS
Back in January, the rapper leaked texts allegedly from Kim in which she begged him to stop causing drama.
The text read: "U are creating a dangerous and scary environment and someone will hurt Pete and this will all be your fault."
Another text, in a now-deleted post, read: "Why can't you keep any of our conversations private??"
Kanye responded: "Because I got it from my favorite person in the world. I'm your number one fan. Why wouldn't I tell everyone."
The rapper also took aim at Pete, blasting the actor while posting a pic of him and Kim out on a date together last month.
Along with the snapshot, he wrote: “LOOK AT THIS D**KHEAD. I WONDER IF INSTAGRAM GONNA SHUT DOWN MY PAGE FOR DISSING HILARY CLINTON’S EX-BOYFRIEND.”
The final line seemingly referenced a joke that Pete and Hillary had gotten together after they were spotted randomly running into each other.
Kanye also recently threatened to "beat up" Pete in Eazy, his new song with The Game.
MOVING ON
While the rapper was initially trying to delay the divorce, it was recently reported that the rapper now wants the matter to be over with.
“I’ve asked my team to expedite the dissolution of my marriage to Kim so I can put my entire attention into our beautiful children," Kanye told on Tuesday.
They have four children together: daughters North, eight, and Chicago, four, and sons Saint, six, and Psalm, two.
Kanye had previously objected to Kim's desire to be legally single out of concerns the star may move some of their assets to her separate accounts if she decides to remarry.
IN DISTRESS
His new outlook on their divorce comes one week after Kim said she feels "emotionally distressed" by his outbursts on social media.
As she continued to beg a judge to declare her legally single, Kim said there is "no way to repair their marriage" and that Kanye is deliberately trying to make it "difficult" for her to remarry.
"I very much desire to be divorced," Kim said in a petition obtained by
She added that she has asked Kanye to keep their divorce private, "but he has not done so."
Additionally, the SKIMS mogul complained about Kanye's repeated attacks on her and Pete.
The mother-of-four said: "Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress."
LOVE LIFE
While Kim has moved on with the comedian, Kanye has been linked to numerous women since his split from the reality star.
He has been spotted spending time with model Chaney Jones, 24, following a short romance with Julia Fox, 31.
