EastEnders fans in hysterics at worst police ever as they catch Jean and Harvey breaking the law
JEAN Slater and Harvey Monroe provided BBC One viewers with one of EastEnders' most light-hearted moments last night.
Soap fans were left in stitches as the new couple escaped the police.
After being romantically linked for the first time upon the cabbie's arrival in the Square, and failing to explore their potential after a failed date, Jean and Harvey are enjoying each other's company again.
During Thursday's trip to Walford, the couple (portrayed by Gillian Wright and Ross Boatman) were seen being approached by a police officer as they were sat in Harvey's car, parked at the side of the road.
Harvey confessed he was worried as he had just been drinking and feared the police would take action as soon as they found the bottle in his car.

He admitted he had once been arrested for drink driving and didn't want it to happen again.
Known for her antics, Jean struck again and came to the rescue by distracting the police officer with some made-up shenanigans.
The officer left, warning them they should get their broken rear lights fixed.
BBC One viewers were in hysterics, slamming the officer for his gullible behaviour.
"I wouldn't trust soap police to keep you safe", a Twitter user wrote, while another added: "How has that police officer even got a job?"
A third said: "The cops in this show about as much use as the ones from The Simpsons."
Another viewer was puzzled and noted that no police officer would approach a stationary car unless something was amiss.
