THE Masked Singer is bringing back new and fresh costumes to season 7, including McTerrier.

This smiling dog costume is the fifth furry friend to take the stage.

Who is McTerrier from The Masked Singer?

In a spectacular showdown on Wednesday, March 9, McTerrier's identity was accidentally revealed when he nearly fell off the stage after his set.

He quickly put his mask back on and fans continued to speculate about who the Scottish dog could be.

The judges made their final decision and eliminated McTerrier who dropped to the ground and began kicking the air.

The official guesses included Mike Myers, Flea, Ewan McGregor, or Jeff Ross but McTerrier turned out to be pastry chef Duff Goldman.

Although Goldman was able to save face during his costume malfunction, he later explained to , “I sang the whole song and right at the end I have this big howl that I do. And I felt no stage under my foot. You can’t see, you are blind in that costume. And I didn’t realize I was that close to the edge of the stage. And so when I felt my foot over the edge, I jumped back. And in jostling it too much, my head came off.”

McTerrier is the fifth dog costume to take the stage since The Masked Singer first aired in 2019.

Previous dog contestants included Rottweiler who was revealed to be Chris Daughtry, Bulldog turned out to be Nick Cannon, Margaret Cho as the Poodle, and Tyga as Dalmatian.
