EUROVISION has returned for another annual song contest.
Some viewers may be wondering Russia will still be taking part after it invaded Ukraine.
Will Ukraine compete in Eurovision 2022 and who is their entry?
The Ukraine are taking part in Eurovision 2022.
They are being represented by the band Kalush Orchestra who will sing their song Stefania.
Prior to the 2022 contest, Ukraine has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest sixteen times since its first entry in 2003.
They then went on to win it in the following year with the song Wild Dances performed by Ruslana.

Will Russia compete in Eurovision 2022?
On February 25, 2022, the European Broadcasting Union released a statement about Russia's participation in this year's Eurovision event, .
"The EBU has announced that no Russian act will participate in this year's Eurovision Song Contest," the read.

"The Executive Board of the EBU made the decision following a recommendation earlier today by the Eurovision Song Contest's governing body, the Reference Group, based on the rules of the event and the values of the EBU.
"The Reference Group recommendation was also supported by the EBU’s Television Committee," the statement added.

"The decision reflects concern that, in light of the , the inclusion of a Russian entry in this year’s Contest would bring the competition into disrepute.
"...We remain dedicated to protecting the values of a cultural competition which promotes international exchange and understanding, brings audiences together, celebrates diversity through music and unites Europe on one stage," the statement concluded.
When is the Eurovision Song Contest 2022?
Eurovision returned to screens on Tuesday May 10, 2022 at 8pm.
The Eurovision 2022 final is on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
It will be held at Italy's PalaOlimpico Arena in Turin.
The event will be broadcast live from 8pm on BBC One and .
Graham Norton will be commentating on all the Eurovision action for the BBC.
Mika, Laura Pausini, and Alessandro Cattelan are the presenters on the night.
It is Italy's turn to host the big event after they won the show in 2021 with rock band Måneskin.
