Linda Robson breaks down in tears live on Loose Women after turning 64

LINDA Robson burst into tears on today's Loose Women after receiving an emotional surprise live on air.

The Birds of a Feather actress was shocked when she was shown a sweet birthday message from her granddaughters.

After turning 64 yesterday, Linda wasn't expecting her beloved grandkids Lila and Betsey to appear in a pre-recorded video during the final moments of the live show.

As soon as she saw them pop up on the screen, she couldn't hold back her emotions.

In between tears, she explained she was more emotional because she won't see the eldest Lila for a few days.

"She's just gone on a school journey today so I won't see her for a week," Linda explained.

Linda is known to her fans as 'Nanny Linda' due to how much she loves being a grandma.

Lila and Betsey are the children of Linda's daughter Lauren, and Linda looks after them three days a week after school.

The devoted gran celebrated her birthday yesterday in style, enjoying a slap up meal and drinks.

Linda was joined by her pal Christopher Biggins and her Birds of a Feather co-star Lesley Joseph.

Linda's other Birds co-star Pauline Quirke was not in attendance, although Linda squashed any feud rumours last week.

Also at the bash were her granddaughters as Linda shared a snap of Betsey blowing out the candles on her cake.

She also proudly showed off one of her gifts - a pink hangbag with 'Nanny Linda' written on it.

Later, Linda wrote on instagram: "Thank you all for your lovely messages yesterday. I had a lovely birthday 🎉 🎂🎈 thank you to everyone who made it so special! X
