One fan pleaded: "Eve stripping naked in front of a woman, Eve sharing a bath with a woman, Eve sliding across a couch to kiss a woman, eve kissing a woman... And it's not Villanelle...why why why why."
The saucy moment happened after Hélène revealed that she got Villanelle out of prison - leading fans convinced that Eve still holds a candle for the assassin.
Season four kicked off to a disturbing start last week as viewers watched Villanelle try to repent for her sins.
She stopped herself from killing the vicar's daughter and even tried to baptise herself - but this left fans dubious over whether the assassin had really turned over a new leaf.
In the second instalment, Vilanelle manifests a doppelganger vision of herself as Jesus Christ, as she ingratiates into a Christian community in London in an attempt to prove she's not a terrible person.
Last week, the Russian assassin was obsessed with being baptised and invited Eve so that she could prove that she had changed.
But when Eve didn't turn up, she takes her anger out on May and almost drowns her.
Feeling frustrated that God doesn't speak to her, Villanelle now imagines Jesus, who looks and sounds exactly like her, to be her spiritual guide.
However, viewers were left uneasy by the concept and took to Twitter, with one writing: "This is all very strange...I'm not keen on tonight's episode. #KillingEve"
Another posted: "Killing Eve was always a bit wacky and strange but this last series is just ridiculous and I'm really struggling to get what the hell is going on."
