The soap star has long been linked with an appearance on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “I’m A Celebrity’s return Down Under opens the door to a star-studded line-up, and having been heavily tipped to appear on the show over the past few years, the latest odds suggest Danny Dyer will finally take the plunge.”

The Sun told how I’m A Celeb bosses want Danny as their star signing this year as they gear up for a big return to Australia.

The cockney actor, 44, who plays pub landlord Mick Carter, is leaving EastEnders after nine years.

The ITV juggernaut is set to return Down Under in November after Covid travel restrictions led to two years of filming at chillier Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

A show source said: “Producers think Danny would be great on the series and is their number one target.
