KATE Garraway has revealed the sad reason why she will never take off her wedding ring, even while doing the gardening or washing her hands.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 54, appeared on last night's special episode of Love Your Garden and fans were quick to notice that she didn't take her band off while getting her hands dirty.
Viewer Valerie took to twitter to write: "I’m worried she might lose or damage those beautiful rings. Am I the only person who takes off my engagement ring when cooking or gardening? #loveyourgarden"
And Kate, whose husband Derek Draper is still battling the devastating effects of his Covid battle, responded directly, explaining she fears it would be bad luck to remove the ring.
The mum of two replied: "I know what you mean - but have never taken it off & now fear it’ll be a jinx if I do - silly really! Glad you are enjoying the programme xxx"
And the fan swiftly responded, admitting they understood her fear.
