Mackenzie, 25, got swept up in some internet tomfoolery over her new hair.
The Teen Mom OG alum recently took to to share a video documenting her transformation from a light blonde to dark brunette.
Throughout the clip, the ex MTV star played with her wavy dark hair as she smiled for the camera.
Days after Mackenzie shared the video, fans rushed to Reddit to note that Ryan Edwards' wife looks like another star from the franchise - Chelsea, 30.

"Is she trying to be Chelsea?" one wrote at the time.
Since, a thread titled "both are likely flammable" with a side-by-side of the look to a similarly colored broom saw some more low swipes.
"Wait... this was... on purpose?!" one user asked while another noted, "Definitely. A super weird ~influencer~ trend."
Teen Mom alums famously often branch out from the show into Instagram presences - with The Sun exclusively earlier revealing that Mackenzie secured a job in marketing and has started her own fitness business.

Another person said the hair color made her "look 45," while one added: "It’s baffling she’s still in her early 20s. Life with Ryan is aging her badly."
B-ROOM FOR ONE MORE?
"Mackenzie and her vehicle," slammed another cruelly likening the star to a witch.
"Is a black broom like that a thing? Seems like something Chelsea would own," someone wrote, and someone alleged, "She has three."
"UGH all I can see is how she treated Bentley," another chimed in, referencing her explosion with Maci Bookout whom she accused of "manipulating" her son on-air.
"I think she looks great," defended another. While a second agreed: "I'm probably in the minority -- I like her new look."
While earlier comparing her new hair to the mom of four, one person commented: "Is Chelsea the goal for all these chicks?"

Mackenzie changed her look after she, Ryan, and his family were axed by MTV.
The network cut ties with the family after Ryan's parents, Jen and Larry, had a nasty fight with Ryan’s baby mama Maci and her husband, Taylor McKinney, during the Teen Mom OG reunion show.
Ryan, 34, and Maci, 30, share 13-year-old son Bentley together.
Meanwhile, Ryan and Mackenzie share Jagger, three, and Stella, two.
It also came as other changes could be happening with the franchise.
CHANGES
earlier revealed that Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 would reportedly be combined into one show with some cast getting cut amid ratings woes.
According to the outlet, MTV producers have been hard at work trying to save the franchise.
However, sources told the outlet that no decision has been finalized at this time.
Insiders revealed that while it's unlikely all 10 Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 cast members will remain on the show in its new format, not everyone on the shows is currently aware of the chatter.
