She described Tuesday's dramatic trip into hospital as a "wake up call".

Kate wrote: "Yesterday was pretty strange. Long story but I ended up in hospital.

"Got home at 9pm and feeling much better today. I need to make some changes in order to feel better, both mentally and physically.

"But it's easy to forget to look after yourself when you're juggling so much. Still, it's given me a wake up call."

She concluded by telling fans: "I hope you're all doing okay today. ❤️."

Kate rose to fame in 2002 by winning Channel 4's Big Brother, going on to appear in the early celebrity version of Love Island in 2006.

The star built a successful career in radio and in 2019 joined the relaunched Virgin Radio as its drivetime host.

She recently bravely opened up about her mental health plunged following the birth of daughter Noa, one.

The former Big Brother star said: “I internalised a lot of my emotions. I just did it at the time because I didn’t want to feel like I was being dramatic.

"I mean, I did feel suicidal, but not until around six weeks. But I really thought it was just a case of the baby blues and we were just going through a bit of a tough time. I did spiral.”

Having to take Noa to A&E several times when she was a tiny baby even made Kate question whether her baby was “meant to be”.
