I learnt some hard lessons as my marriage crumbled last year – it’s been a journey, admits Rylan Clark

RYLAN Clark will document the "toughest year" of his life as he's set to release a tell-all book to mark 10 years since he shot to fame on The X Factor.

The 33-year-old announced his latest project on Instagram, sharing a montage of clips from the last decade and adding that he "can't wait" to share his story.

Alongside the post Rylan wrote: "TEN: The decade that changed my future. Wow. All the emotions.

"This book celebrates ten years of me being in this crazy industry. We all know I should have lasted ten minutes, so how I’ve lasted ten years, I’ll never know."

Rylan, who split from husband Dan Neal after six years of marriage in June last year, hinted that the book will detail their shock break-up.

He added: "Learned so many lessons, especially in the last year but it’s been a journey, and I can’t wait to share it with you very soon."

There's no doubt Rylan has a lot to talk about after it was recently revealed that the telly favourite is a multi-millionaire thanks to his many TV gigs.

His massive fortune has been revealed in financial statements from his mail order company Rcndorse.

It banked £500,000 last year, netting £23,625 worth of fixed assets and £444,926 in current assets.

And that left £405,809 profit after allowing for £67,742 with bills.

Rcndorse was set up in 2018 – registering its nature of business on Companies House as ‘retail sale via mail order houses or via internet.’

Despite being on the corporate register for three years, 2020/21 was its first year of trading.

With its inaugural six figure return for Rylan covering the year ended 30 June 2021.

Its earnings coming hot on the heels of a £300,000 increase in assets held by him at property firm Luxenoa.

Financial statements for it for the year ended April 30, 2021 reporting £1,331,303 in total assets – including £1,287,656 worth of bricks and mortar.

After allowing for long term liabilities at £1,200,574 Luxenoa retained £130,729 in capital and reserves.

Luxenoa began trading in 2020 – buying £984,293 with of property in its first year. Rylan also set this firm up in 2018.

In addition, Rylan has his own ‘performing arts’ business into which he channels his entertainment earnings.

It is called Rylan Limited and was set up in 2013 and its financial records are due for an update in May.

However, as at latest accounts he held £1,644,487 in assets at this firm.

They comprised £1,292,076 in monies owed to his business, as well as cash held at £352,411. Its total assets a £260,364 upturn on 2019.

After allowing or bills it held £1,388,988 in shareholder funds as at 31 August 2020.

Accounts show how its net worth has shot up through the years.

Climbing from £81,450 in 2014, its first year of trading, to £230,140 in 2016, £605,030 in 2017 before passing £1 million in 2019 with a £1,049,099 net worth.

Rylan has a fourth private firm - Paste Inc up in November 2020 with first accounts due August.
