How does The Games work?

ITV‘s The Games sees celebrities competing in a series of games with the hopes of being crowned top of the medals table.

Six male and six female competitors will battle it out in a series of Olympic style events.

Each contestant will put their sporting skills to the test in activities such as a 100-metre sprint and diving in order to climb the medal table.

Many have already shown off dramatic body transformations as well as injuries that have had to be taped up.

What prize does the winner of The Games get?

As well as live coverage of the events, each episode of The Games will feature the celebrities’ preparation as they’re taught the sports from scratch by some of the UK’s top coaches.

The nightly show follows their gruelling training programme leading up to the competition, as they aim to reach their peak physical condition.

As the leaderboard takes shape with each night, the series will culminate in an exhilarating final showdown in which one male champion and one female champion will be crowned.

There is no monetary prize, simply the honour of winning the show.
