The 61-year-old host was in disbelief at the idea of putting gravy on chips - with many calling it a Northern delicacy.

He said: "In Lancashire, listen to this. They have chips and put gravy on them. On chips! On chips, gravy?"
Refusing to let it go, he brought the subject up again later boggling: "Chips? With gravy on them? We'll see you after the break."
One fan tweeted: "Get over it Brad Chips and Gravy is brilliant."
