NETFLIX has become one of the centers for reality TV dating shows, The Ultimatum is their newest edition.

From the creators of Love Is Blind on Netflix, comes The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On.

How many episodes are there of The Ultimatum?

There are 10 episodes of the new series, which hit Netflix on April 6, 2022.

Netflix's The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On will see a set of existing couples arrive to test their relationship.

On March 29, Netflix took to Twitter to announce the new series.

"They’re not ready to marry their current partner — but someone else might be! Six couples are given eight weeks to commit to marriage or move on… potentially with someone else! From the creators of Love is Blind, The Ultimatum premieres April 6."

Who is in the cast of The Ultimatum?

The hosts of the new series are real-life married couple Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa.

Nick and Vanessa have been married since 2011 following his marriage to Jessica Simpson.

  • The couples include Alexis, 25, and Hunter, 28, who have been dating for two years and Alexis issued the ultimatum
  • Madlyn, 24, and Colby, 25, who have been dating for one-and-a-half years and Colby issued the ultimatum
  • Shanique, 24, and Randall, 26, who have been dating for one-and-a-half years and Shanique issued the ultimatum.

The other half of the couples include:

  •  April, 23, and Jake, 26, who have been dating for two years and April issued the ultimatum
  • Rae, 24, and Zay, 25, who have been dating for two-and-a-half years and Rae issued the ultimatum
  • Lauren, 26, and Nate, 30, who have been dating for two-and-a-half years and Nate issued the ultimatum.

What is The Ultimatum about?

The six couples must decide if they want to marry their current partner or move on from the relationship.

In order to test their bond, the individuals will set out to date and begin a new potential relationship with someone else.

The catch is that the person they will date is someone from one of the other couples.

"You move in together in a trial marriage, and at the end of this experience," cohost Vanessa said in the trailer.

"You guys will have to choose to marry the person you arrived here with or split forever," Nick adds.

Netflix released the first eight episodes on April 6 with the final two episodes premiering on April 13.
