The decades-long morning series has seen its fair share of shakeups

A NUMBER of TV presenters have entered and exited The Today Show's panel.

Some of the hosts have been with the network since the late 1990s.

Al Roker

Al Roker first joined Today as a regular anchor on January 26, 1996.

The longtime weatherman has been on the series the longest out of his fellow co-hosts.

Al is one of the show's main broadcasters, he co-anchors the first-hour and the third-hour segments.

Regarding how he got the gig, he told : "I got the Today show kind of because I was already working on the weekend Today show.

"I got that job because I was filling in for Willard Scott. I was in proximity to Willard because I was doing the weather on WNBC News 4 New York.

"So I kind of backed into doing the Today show, mostly because I was close by and I could wear Willard's pants."

Savannah Guthrie

Replacing Ann Curry, Savannah Guthrie made her debut as one of Today's regular anchors on July 8, 2012.

Since then, she's hosted the show's premiere hour alongside Al Roker and Hoda Kotb.

Savannah has interviewed many notable figures including Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Mark Zuckerberg.

Prior to joining the program, she was the White House correspondent and chief legal correspondent for NBC News.

Hoda Kotb

Former Dateline NBC correspondent Hoda Kotb made her Today debut on September 10, 2007.

She became popular for co-hosting the show's fourth hour.

TODAY Show hosts

The TODAY Show is an American television program airing on NBC at 7am. The broadcast discusses domestic and international news, as well as weather reports. The weekday and weekend hosts include:

Years later on January 2, 2018, Hoda replaced Matt Lauer as one of the premiere hour anchors.

She anchors the first hour with Carson Daly, Al, and Savannah, as well as the fourth hour with Jenna Bush Hager.

Carson Daly

On September 12, 2013, Carson joined the Today team and began regularly anchoring the first hour.

The former MTV personality announced: "When I got the call about being permanently on Today and launching the Orange Room, it was like a dream come true.

"You know that scene in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory where Charlie peels back the wrapper and finds the golden ticket?

"I felt like I got the golden ticket. Everything I’ve done in my career up until this point has trained me for TODAY.

"The interviews, the live TV, the live radio...it all gets paid off."

He is also the host of The Voice and Barmageddon with Blake Shelton.

Jenna Bush Hager

On August 30, 2009, Jenna Bush Hager became a part of Today's ensemble.

On April 8, 2019, Jenna replaced Kathie Lee Gifford as Hoda's co-host for the fourth hour.

One of George W Bush's two daughters, Jenna contributed to the series for 10 years before she was named the fourth hour's permanent co-anchor.

Jenna expressed her excitement in an Instagram post and said: "It feels humbling and I can’t believe it.

"I’m humbled and thrilled and filled with joy that I will get to sit next to @hodakotb! @kathielgifford is a legend and the most generous and gracious and hardworking."

Sheinelle Jones

Prior to hosting Today's third hour with Al, Craig Melvin, and Dylan Dreyer, Sheinelle Jones came aboard the series' weekend team on October 4, 2014.

"It's so exciting to know that you're joining a team where they're friendly, they're welcoming, they're smart," Sheinelle said of the opportunity.

"You get to see the true Sheinelle Marie Jones. I'm very honest about not having a veil.

"If something is serious, I'll be serious. If something's kind of funny, I'll probably laugh."

Dylan Dreyer

Third-hour meteorologist Dylan Dreyer first appeared on Today on September 15, 2012.

She officially made the move from the morning program's weekend segments to the 9am slot on January 7, 2019.

At the time, Dylan said: "I've always watched NBC and I've only ever worked at NBC stations.

"This is a true dream come true, I get to talk about the weather which is my specialty. But I get to do it in such a fun way, trying new things, and meeting so many new people along the way!"

Craig Melvin

Together with Sheinelle, Dylan, and Al, Craig Melvin supplanted former Today personality Megyn Kelly and took over the third hour.

Craig pulled off double duty by hosting both TODAY's third hour, as well as his MSNBC show Craig Melvin Reports until March 31, 2022.

While reporting for NBC News, he's covered a variety of topics.

Craig has covered several Democratic and Republican conventions, the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy, the George Zimmerman trial, and the Summer Olympics.
