Teen Mom Amber Portwood’s ex Gary Shirley shares 13-year-old daughter Leah’s report card after teen’s ‘struggles’
TEEN Mom star Gary Shirley shared his daughter Leah's report card after revealing the teenager's "struggles."
Gary, 35, shares the 13-year-old with his ex Amber Portwood.
The reality star took to to show off his eldest child's achievements at school.
The snapshot highlighted the seventh-grade student's straight A's in every subject this semester.
Gary boasted about his "smart cookie" in the caption, writing: "I think We’re doing something right, she’s just like her dad! Jk 😂(Smart cookie) ;)
"Sometimes she struggles, but she gets there. I’m very proud of you Leah & all your hard work. "

Leah's mother praised her firstborn in the comments, replying: "You better quit lol! She does have my attitude sometimes haha jk so proud of her and our beautiful blended family!!🙏💕💕😄😄"
Gary's wife Kristina also chimed in with kind words for her stepdaughter, adding: "I am beyond proud of her. She continues to amaze me with all of her achievements and the young lady she is becoming. ❤️"
Amber, 31, has had a strained relationship with her daughter, which has played out on Teen Mom OG.
The former partners discussed their progress in strengthening the mother-daughter bond during part one of the show's reunion special in November.

However, the conversation took a turn when Gary revealed that Leah was attending therapy - something Amber was not aware of.
He said: "She is speaking to somebody, a professional.
"You probably didn't know this. Per Leah's request, she didn't want it to be talked about. I have permission to talk about it and make it known."
The MTV star continued: "Part of Leah going is she didn't want anybody knowing to start off. I supported that.
"They are working on different things that she can do to help the communication start between her and her mom."
The teen lives with Gary and his wife Kristina full time, while the TV star occasionally gets to visit their daughter.
After Gary opened up about Leah's treatment, Amber made it clear that the information is something she should have known.
She said: "Here's the thing. I'm the mother.
"I need to understand what Leah is going through so I believe the communication should be there for that.
"I also think that Leah is a child. She is not an adult. She doesn't need to say anything, but you can tell me."
LASHING OUT
Months earlier, Amber shocked fans when she lashed out at Gary's wife in an Instagram Live rant.
In a previous Teen Mom OG episode, Leah said she doesn't have a "bond" with Amber and that Kristina is the one who looks after her.
Several hours after the episode aired, Amber took to Instagram to brand Kristina a "liar" and claim that she "spoils" Leah.
"When you're a w***e, you're a w***e. When you're a homewrecker, you're a homewrecker," the MTV star said.
"When you're a liar, you're a liar," she added.
BLENDED FAMILY
The family seems to be making strides towards becoming better co-parents as Amber and Gary reunited to bring their children together for a lunch date.
Amber is also mom to son James, three, with her ex Andrew Glennon.

The TV personality captioned her post: "It’s truly the simple things! Blended families can be complicated and at times stressful.
"But it’s simple days and kind gestures that make co-parenting amazing. Thanks for the sandwich ."
