Despite being axed from the British version of the reality show, Ant has recently starred alongside Billy in Australia's SAS: Who Dares Wins.

But fans are questioning whether their friendship is now over.

Billy was first to set the rumour mill off after sharing a cast shot of himself and his new SAS: Who Dares Wins co-stars.

Following Ant's dramatic exit from the Brit series, the show - which kicks off this month - will now feature Billy, Jason 'Foxy' Fox, Rudy Reyes and Remi Adeleke as the Directing Staff.

SAS: WHO DARES WINS

Billy, 56, wrote: "Standby Standby. More experience! More time served! No Egos, No Bulls***!

"Undoubtedly the finest collaboration of military experience so far.

"It truly gets better every course . Talk is cheap! watch and shoot….."

Billy concluded with the phrase from the SAS Regimental poem by James Elroy Flecke: "Always a little further. Always a little better."

Some fans immediately wondered if Billy was referring to Ant, who was axed by Channel 4 and accused of having an 'ego' on backstage.

"No Ego Ant!!!" one follower simply wrote.

Another shared several crying with laughter emojis, adding: "No egos no bulls*** 😂😂 shots fired."

In response, an Instagram user asked: "At who?"

And another wrote: "Shouldn’t be to hard to work out..."

Within 24 hours, 41-year-old Ant appeared to hit back by posting a photograph on Instagram of himself standing in front of a helicopter.

Alongside it, he shared the lyrics to Live Your Life by T.I. feat Rihanna, which encourage people to 'ignore haters'.

T.I. raps : "Hey, never mind what haters say, ignore ‘em till they fade away. Amazin’ they ungrateful after all the game I gave away

"Safe to say I paved the way for you cats to get paid today. You’d still be wastin’ days away now had I never saved the day.

"Consider them my protege, homage I think they should pay Instead of being gracious they violate in a major way

"I never been a hater still I love ‘em in a crazy way…."

Ant then penned: "Absolute tune from T.I going into the weekend. Have a positive weekend my positive people! 👊🏼 #begracious."

In response, one of Ant's followers wrote: "Shame you lot had to fall out. Yous was all great together. But best to luck to you all."

Another chimed in: "Isn’t it such a shame! They were the dream team & made a really great show, shame it ended like this. Onward & upwards though and I do love the Aussie team & show!"

A third told Ant: "Don’t let them get under your skin. You are a good man."
