How to apply for SAS: Who Dares Wins

To apply for the 2023 series of SAS: Who Dares Win just click

Applicants must all meet a certain criteria in order for their application to be processed.

The requirements are as follows:

  • Be between the age of 18-44
  • At Least 147cm tall and weight at least 50 kg
  • Currently NOT serving in the armed forces
  • Applicants must be available for three weeks in September 2022
  • Must hold a valid passport to travel
  • Legal right to reside in the UK

Is there training for SAS: Who Dares Wins?

There is no training for SAS as applicants are expected to be in a "peak physical and mental health" condition.

The tests carried out which is stated on the application include:

1) Full press ups – a minimum of 44 in 2 minutes

2) Full sits up – a minimum of 50 in 2 minutes

3) Static lift onto a platform 1.45m high. This is a progressive test, which will assess the maximum weight you can lift. This is not a pass or fail test.

4) Jerry can test– carry two 20kg weights over a distance of 120m in two minutes.

5) A Beep test with the level of 10.1 (covering a distance of 20m on each leg).

The application states that if you are unable to complete this fitness test then please do not apply as you will not be eligible for the next series.

When does the next season of SAS: Who Dares Wins start on Channel 4?

Series seven is set to hit the screens on Sunday, April 10 on Channel 4.

The series will be set in the desert out in jordan, and will feature some brand new contestants hoping to prove their physical and mental strength.

The new series will also feature two brand new Directing Staff (DS), including Americans Rudy Reyes and Remi Adeleke.

The new Chief instructor Rudy is a former United States Recon Marine, whilst DS Remi is a former US Navy SEAL.

Both will join the usual faces Jason Fox and Mark Billingham.
