Who is taking part in SAS: Who Dares Wins?

The show sees 21 men and women put through their paces in extreme circumstances.

The line up for the 2022 series is yet to be revealed, but as soon as we know, you’ll know.

The first episode sees the recruits crawling and running to their base in the searing heat of the Jordanian desert.

Their teamwork is tested as they must cross a ravine balancing on a rope suspended 165 feet above the ground.

Who are the SAS officers training recruits?

Putting them through this punishing process is a new line up of directing staff, as well as some familiar faces.

Fan favourites Jason “Foxy” Fox and Mark “Billy” Billingham are back, but joining them for the first time are two new instructors.

Former United States Recon Marine, Rudy Reyes is the new Chief Instructor and he is joined by new DS – former US Navy SEAL – Remi Adeleke.

Former main man Ant Middleton was dropped by Channel 4 bosses in March, over Black Lives Matter tweets.

How can I apply to be on the show?

The seventh series of the show has already been filmed, but you can apply for season 8.

You need to be between the ages of 18 and 44 years on October 31, 2022.

You must also be at your best physical fitness as you will need to do:

  • At least 44 full press-ups in two minutes
  • At least 50 full sit-ups in two minutes
  • Static lift on to a platform 1.45m high
  • Carry two 20kg weights over a distance of 120m in 2 minutes
  • A Beep test with the level of 10.1. (Equivalent of a 1.5 mile run in 9 minutes 30 seconds)
