Taskmaster contestants: Who is in the line-up for season 14?
TASKMASTER is back on our TV screens for season 14 with another star-studded line-up.
Here’s everything we know about the latest celebrities set to take part in Channel 4‘s hit game show.
Who’s in Taskmaster Season 14?
Dara Ó Briain
Ó Briain is a comedian and presenter best known for hosting panel shows including Mock the Week and, previously, The Apprentice: You’re Fired!
He is also an author of books for both children and adults.
His first book Beyond the Sky was nominated for a Blue Peter Book of the Year Award in 2017.
In 2010, Ó Briain was voted the 16th greatest stand-up comic on Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Stand-Ups.

Fern Brady
Stand-up comic and writer Brady is no stranger to panel shows, having previously guest starred on 8 Out of 10 Cats and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz.
In 2020, Brady and comedian Alison Spittle started a podcast for the BBC called Wheel of Misfortune, which is based on the Wheel of Fortune.
The Scottish comedian then co-presented the Dave travelogue British as Folk alongside fellow comedians Ivo Graham and Darren Harriott the following year.
John Kearns
Kearns is a stand-up and the only comedian to have won both the Best Show and Best Newcomer awards at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
His TV credits include co-hosting Guessable, 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown, playing the lead role in cult hit Top Coppers, Drunk History, Rotters and Harry Hill’s Stars In Their Eyes.
John also wrote for Harry Hill on HH’s Tea Time on Sky One.
Munya Chawawa
Chawawa became a well-known stand-up comedian after her online parody sketches became a viral sensation during the pandemic in 2020.
He was nominated for a Bafta for Race Around Britain.
He has collaborated with the likes of comedians Mo Gilligan, Michael Dapaah and musicians Unknown T, S1mba, and KSI.
Sarah Millican
Millican is an award-winning comedian who previously presented her own series The Sarah Millican Television Programme.
In February 2013 she was listed as one of the 100 most powerful women in the United Kingdom by Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.
In 2019, she began presenting Elephant in the Room, a comedy panel show, for Radio 4.
Who hosts Taskmaster?
Greg Davies
The Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies, is back on our screens hosting the Channel 4 TV series.
He is best known for his roles as Mr. Gilbert in The Inbetweeners, Greg in We Are Klang, and Ken Thompson in Cuckoo.
Greg also wrote and starred in the BBC One comedy series The Cleaner.
Greg has hosted Taskmasker, alongside his sidekick Alex Horne, since its release in 2015.
Alex Horne
Alex Horne is the mastermind behind Bafta-winning and Emmy-nominated TV series Taskmaster.
Alex created the series in 2015 and has co-hosted it ever since.
Alex is also the creator and frontman of the musical comedy band The Horne Section, appearing on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and The Last Leg.
When does Taskmaster season 14 start on Channel 4?
The new season of Taskmaster will kick off on Thursday, September 29 on Channel 4 at 9 pm.
New episodes are set to air weekly from then on.
