EMMERDALE'S Leyla Harding is set to have her world rocked as her secret connection to Suzy is exposed next week.
Newcomer Suzy bumped into Vanessa in recent episodes - and agreed to go out on a date for dinner after a flirty exchange.
Suzy Merton - played by Martelle Edinborough - looked to have had a spark with Vanessa Woodfrield - played by Michelle Hardwick.
Upcoming episodes will see Vanessa accept the invitation to dinner from Suzy, but her world is thrown into chaos when her phone breaks.
Unable to call Suzy to cancel, she is desperate to make it up to her the next day - dressing to impress for a wine tasting at David's shop.
The date goes so well that Vanessa and Suzy head to the Woolpack for another drink - where they bump into long-time resident Leyla.

Leyla is left rattled to see the pair together sharing a drink - and begins to quiz them on how they knew each other.
Trying to cover her tracks, Suzy suspiciously tries to explain that they work together - despite meeting her by chance in the street.
A shaken Leyla looks confused to see Suzy around, with the newcomer promising to keep her secrets. But what does Leyla have to hide?
It comes as actress Paige Sandhu teases serial killer Meena will give "the performance of a lifetime" as the trail unfolds.
