CORONATION Street fans are stunned after Imran Habeeb sunk to new lows to take Alfie from Abi Franklin.

The solicitor - who is played by actor Charlie de Melo in the ITV soap - decided to play dirty to keep full custody of his son after successfully applying to take him home by the court.

He reunited with ex Toyah last night and tonight they were approved by the court to be Alfie’s full-time parents.

A furious Abi ignored her solicitor’s advice and stormed over to Imran to tell him: “You won’t win.

“You’ll be begging for an hour in the park with him. Elliot recons we’ve got plenty for a case so ta for the funding, we’ll see you in court.

“Your relationship’s a scam. I’ve had six months longer with Alfie, it’s my blood running through his veins right now and all your smart words and posh suits won’t change that.

“You’ll lose.”

Heading inside Imran realised Abi could be right - and he took drastic action.

“I know you think I’m being harsh on Abi but I’m not,” he said to Toyah.

“If I thought she was safe there is absolutely no way I’d keep Alfie away from her. Surely you know me better than that.

“We have to keep him safe. That’s the priority, no matter what it takes.”

He then picked up the card from the dodgy paralegal who fabricates evidence and called the number.

Fans are in shock at how low Imran would sink.

One wrote: "Explosive story lines ahead about the baby."

A second said: "Toyah you sneaky snake, tryna steal the child!!!";

Another added: "Well the staying away from Imran went well.'
