BRITAIN'S Got Talent viewers and judges alike were in tears as a shy dad was surprised by his kids in the show's return.
Nick Edwards thought he had planned a day out with the family in London, but was shocked to see his mum walk out on stage with his two young daughters.
"Are you joking? That's my mum," he was heard saying in the audience.
The young girls and his mum explained how they wanted Nick to audition on BGT but had to surprise him because they knew he wouldn't have done it himself.
He reluctantly came up on stage to join his family as his wife got emotional in the audience.
The property manager, 35, explained how he lost confidence in his singing and kept his talents hidden at home.
"Hopefully I'll keep the nerves and crying away while I do this," he told the judges.
Judge Amanda Holden suggested he go backstage to gather himself and warm up before coming back on stage.

When Nick came back on he sung an acoustic track dedicated to his beautiful daughters.
Host Declan Donnelly was so overcome with emotion, he needed a moment to gather himself before talking to the camera.
Amanda admitted her and fellow judge Alesha Dixon were "in bits" as they wiped away tears.
Nick's beautiful track earned him four 'yes' votes from the judges and he'll advance to the next round of the competition.
