Stephen Mulhern hosted Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2 alongside the main show for over a decade.

But after thousands of eccentric hopefuls showcasing their talent, or lack of it in some cases, the spin-off show took its final bow in 2019.

Bosses decided to end the series and focus on the main show and its social media channels, however, fans that weren't aware of the move aren't happy.

Taking to Twitter, one person penned: "Britain's Got More Talent will always be the more superior show. Bring it back!"

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "Why isn't Britain's Got More Talent on TV anymore? What a stupid move."

While a third added: "Britain's Got Talent is nothing without Stephen Mulhern. He's so funny on In For A Penny."

At the time the show was axed, we spoke exclusively to Stephen, who revealed the decision to axe the show was a "shame"; and left a "massive gap" in the series.

He explained: "It’s a shame and when it was decided they weren’t going to do the ITV2 version I think the consensus among the boys and judges was this is a massive gap.

"We did it from day one, when there were only three judges. Do I think it’s a shame? I do. We got away with a lot of stuff."

Stephen, who is currently on ITV with a new series of In For A Penny on Saturday nights, said of his new gig: “It is very similar in style to what we did on BGMT.

“Do I miss BGMT? The answer is yes. But that’s life.”
