BRITAIN'S Got Talent is facing a fresh fix row as Saturday's returning episode saw viewers spot a huge clue that an audition was staged.
Fans of BGT were quickly questioning if an audition was "contrived" as they watched a dad perform after being secretely entered into the competition by his two daughters.
The panel of judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - were enchanted by Savannah and Cali, aged three and four, when they walked on the stage with their nan, leaving dad Nick Edwards stunned.
The dad-of-two claimed he thought the family was just there to be part of the audience - but eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot that he already had a microphone attached to his shirt.
As his daughters walked on stage, Nick said: "You're joking. That's my mum, you're joking."
His mum then revealed to the audience: "Well, Nick doesn't know anything about it and we're surprising him because we want him to come and sing because he sings a lovely song for the girls."

However, social media users were sceptical of the moment, with many pointing out the dad already had a microphone on him when he was in the audience.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer fumed: "Nearly shed a tear until I remembered how contrived this whole thing was. I won't let this show fool me."
Echoing their comments, someone else said: "When he was sat in the audience, did he not wonder where his mum and kids were? He said they'd come on a day out together? What a joke."
While a third added: "Not staged, apparently. But why did he have a microphone already attached when surprised in the audience? Also luckily had his guitar with him. Make it make sense."
Following the show, ITV categorically denied that the moment was staged.
An official BGT spokesperson, said: "We loved welcoming back our BGT viewers back last night after a year away.

"To report or allude to anything being staged or contrived regarding Nick's audition would be false and incorrect.
"He was totally unsuspecting. We did this so we could mic him up without him suspecting a thing".
Britain’s Got Talent continues this Sunday at 19.35pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
