Piers Morgan news: TalkTV host says Donald Trump ‘was almost foaming at the mouth’ as ex-president DENIES walking out
PIERS Morgan was told "you can't behave yourself" during his new bombshell interview with former US president Donald Trump.
The ex-President reached boiling point after Piers blamed Trump's refusal to admit defeat in the 2020 vote for last year's deadly riots at the Capitol.
And in another new clip released on Thursday morning, Mr Trump also said he liked the title of Piers' new show Uncensored - because he "can't behave himself".
The firebrand told the former GMB host: "If they told you to behave yourself, you can't, so it's probably a very accurate title."
Meanwhile, Piers joined Lorraine Kelly on her sofa on Thursday morning, while gearing up for his new gig over on TalkTV - and branded Alex Beresford an "idiot" as he sensationally opened up on his exit from GMB last year.
The straight-talking presenter dramatically stormed out of the GMB studios in March last year after coming to blows with Alex over Meghan Markle.

Piers: 'Trump, your absurd delusion the 2020 election was rigged'
This is a comment piece by Piers Morgan
You call me ‘Fake News Media’, claiming that I ‘attempted to unlawfully and deceptively edit’ the 30-second promo we released yesterday to promote the interview.
But ironically, that claim is itself fake news.
You said all the things we see you saying in that promo, and they are an accurate representation of the most contentious part of our interview.
So, in fact, it’s YOUR disingenuous statement that is misleading.
The bottom line is that we had a wide-ranging conversation about a number of issues, many of which I agreed with you about.
This certainly wasn’t a Trump-bashing interview, as you know. I’ve always tried to be fair about you.
But when I told you I don’t believe the 2020 election was either rigged or stolen from you, you got angry and called me a ‘fool’ seven times.
You reiterated in your statement that I’m a fool if I truly believe those results.
Well, I do — as do many senior Republicans from Mitch McConnell to Mike Pence — so I guess I must identify myself, by your criteria, as a fool.

Piers still maintains his position on GMB fall-out
He said he was hired to GMB, and achieved its best-ever ratings, because he had strong opinions, adding: "I didn't want to leave. It wasn't my choice.
"I was told to apologise or leave, but why would I apologise for something I believe?
"I don't think anyone should apologise for an honestly held opinion.
"If you give this cancel culture a bone, they will take it and still try to crush you."
Piers vows to stand up for the royals against Harry & Meghan (2/2)
Piers continued: "You quit the county, you quit the British people, you are now proud of saying you live in America with a new life. Good luck to you.
"But you are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex still - titles afforded to you by the Queen, by the monarchy.
"All you do is trash the Royal Family, trash your brother, trash your dad, trash the monarchy.
"I'm sorry, but people are allowed to stand up for the Royals. I will stand up for the Royals. I think they want to create a rival, renegade Royal Family.
"They are making hundreds of millions of dollars exploiting the Royal titles from an institution they keep trashing.
"I don't think the can have their royal cake and eat it, and I'm going to say that very loudly on my show."
Piers vows to stand up for the royals against Harry & Meghan (1/2)
PIERS Morgan vowed to stand up for the Royals against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The TalkTV host, 57, said Brits should be allowed to back the monarchy and accused the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of wanting to "create a rival, renegade royal family".
And he slammed them for exploiting their titles while trashing the institution, adding: "I don't think they can have their royal cake and eat it, and I'm going to say that very loudly on my show."
It came during a wide-ranging interview with daytime host Lorraine Kelly, 62, ahead of his TalkTV show Uncensored launching on Monday.
Piers told Lorraine this morning: "Harry's behaviour continues to be utterly deplorable. This ludicrous statement that he is protecting the Queen - really, mate?
"All you have done is make the Queen's life a misery.
Are Alex Beresford and Piers Morgan friends?
It is not believed that the pair have made up sine their fall out on live TV.
In fact, cheeky Piers has poked fun at Alex a few times.
In his Piers Uncensored column for The Sun in March 2022, he wrote about Will Smith’s Oscar scandal and joked that he would have slapped Alex if he didn’t storm off the GMB set.
Then on April 20, 2022 Piers talked about going on ITV's Lorraine, and hinted at a second clash with Alex ahead of a comeback to his old stomping ground.
He shared: "I'll be returning to ITV tomorrow for first time since the Markle debacle… live and definitely uncensored on Lorraine with the fabulous Lorraine Kelly - should be fun..."
With a cheeky jab, he added: "May even storm back onto Good Morning Britain while I wait and get those ratings back up."

What happened between Piers Morgan and Alex Beresford?
Their feud started over comments made by Piers in the aftermath of Meghan and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Piers - who is now fronting News Corp's new show Piers Morgan Uncensored - has long been an outspoken critic of Meghan's, and was outraged by the revelations made in the interview.
Fellow GMB star Alex criticised Piers' take on the explosive interview, which they discussed on the ITV morning show the day after its airing.
During the debate, Alex responded to Piers' claims that he used to talk to Meghan and she "dropped him" once she started dating Prince Harry.
He said: "I understand that you don't like Meghan Markle, you've made it so clear a number of times on this programme, and I understand you've got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off."
But Piers replied: "I'm not having this."
Alex's remarks prompted a dramatic exit from Piers, who stormed off the set.
He was off-screen for almost 20 minutes, but later returned, slamming Alex for "launching a personal derogatory attack" on someone that he works with.
Piers later quit his hosting role after six years, as he refused to apologise for his remarks regarding the Duchess of Sussex, which resulted in tens of thousands of complaints from viewers.

Why Piers quit Life Stories
As well as leaving ITV’s Good Morning Britain over comments he made about Meghan Markle, Piers Morgan also quit his ITV show Life Stories.
After 12 years and 100 shows, Morgan took to Twitter confirming that he will be leaving ITV to host a new global daily show – talkTV.
Before quitting, he held one last interview with his former Good Morning Britain colleague Kate Garraway.
Morgan tweeted: “I’m quitting Life Stories after 12 years and 100 shows.
“My final one will be with my fabulous friend @kategarraway and she will then present the remaining 3 planned shows of the next series as I leave ITV to host my new global daily show.
“It’s been a blast!”
Garraway then went on to present three further episodes in the series.
Piers Morgan mocks Trump's 'statements' on Twitter
Former GMB host Piers Morgan has seemingly mocked Donald Trump on Twitter following the ex-president's fiery statement regarding his bombshell interview.
He accused Piers of hosting a "fake interview", adding: "I don't think Piers is a slimeball - but he lost a lot of credibility."
And in reply, Piers simply wrote: "Love these statements".
Trump - who at one time was an avid user of Twitter - was permanently banned from the social media platform in January last year.
Piers Morgan on rejoining The Sun and talkTV (2/2)
He said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to News Corp, which is where I began my media career more than 30 years ago.
“Rupert Murdoch has been a constant and fearless champion of free speech and we are going to be building something new and very exciting together.
“I want my global show to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews, and a place that celebrates the right of everyone to have an opinion, and for those opinions to be vigorously examined and challenged.
“I’m also delighted to become a columnist for The Sun and the New York Post, two brilliantly successful and popular newspaper brands.
“I’m going home and we’re going to have some fun.”
Piers Morgan on rejoining The Sun and talkTV (1/2)
After months of teasing and denying rumours he would ever step foot on the GMB set again, Piers announced he signed a global deal with News Corp which will see him host a new show in early 2022.
The programme will air on the upcoming station talkTV.
On Thursday, September 16, 2021, he said he would be returning “home” to The Sun as a columnist, and will also write for The New York Post.
Piers' replacement at Good Morning Britain still hasn't been found
Last year he made headlines after leaving ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain (GMB) following an on-air clash with weather presenter Alex Beresford over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The former tabloid editor said he did not believe Meghan's claims in the headline-making interview, with his comments sparking more than 50,000 complaints, the most in Ofcom's history.
The watchdog later ruled that GMB was not in breach of the broadcasting code over Morgan's controversial comments.
Since his departure from the show, no permanent replacement has been announced.
Currently, Richard Madeley, Ben Shephard and Adil Ray are among those to have appeared in a rotating cast of guest presenters.
Piers Morgan says Trump 'was almost foaming at the mouth'
Piers Morgan has claimed Donald Trump was "almost foaming at the mouth" ahead of the interview that will launch his new global show next week.
The 57-year-old TV presenter described the minutes leading up to his conversation with the former US president, which will air with the launch of his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, in a column in The Sun.
Morgan said that, shortly before the interview, Mr Trump had been handed a three-page document detailing critical comments the journalist had made about him on topics including his "woeful handling" of the coronavirus pandemic and his response to defeat in the 2020 presidential election.
Morgan's 75-minute interview, which took place at Mr Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, will be screened on TalkTV on Monday at 8pm.
Writing about a crisis meeting that took place ahead of the interview, he said: "I'd never seen him so livid or felt so uncomfortable in his presence as I did right now. He was almost foaming at the mouth and kept shaking his head slowly and menacingly at me, like Don Corleone when he felt he was disrespected.
"There was no point in trying to deny the quotes. I'd said them, and I'd meant them.
"'I've always been critical of you when I've felt you deserved it,' I eventually said. 'But as you know, I've also written and said many supportive things about you too. This is a one-sided hatchet job designed to stop you doing our interview.'
"'It's definitely a hatchet job,' he retorted, 'On me!'"
Caitlyn Jenner cancels interview with Piers over 'repulsive misconduct'
Following the release of Mr Trump's statement, Caitlyn Jenner said she was cancelling an interview with Morgan planned for next Wednesday over his "repulsive misconduct".
Morgan told Kelly the former Olympic decathlon champion had been scheduled to discuss the issue of transgender athletes competing professionally.
But he added: "That was all set up but she has now read the statement from Donald Trump saying that this is a rigged promo and called me repulsive and cancelled the interview, to which I am like, 'This is a promo, watch the interview'.
"And, by the way, the promo reflects exactly what happened. Donald Trump got very angry about one particular thing and he couldn't let it go.
"But when people see the interview they will see that we have some nice exchanges - we always have done before. But simmering is this anger he was feeling about what was sent to him before we started the interview."
Farage handed Trump document detailing Piers' critical comments
Nigel Farage has confirmed he handed Donald Trump a document that detailed critical comments Piers Morgan had previously made about the former US president, ahead of their interview for TalkTV.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Mr Farage recalled visiting Mar-a-Lago days before the interview took place and telling Mr Trump that Morgan had "gone around boasting in the UK media" that he was his friend while also "stitching you up".
He said he had told Mr Trump, "If you do this interview, here is the truth" before handing him the dossier.
He added: "Trump clearly was extremely displeased. The interview, because of that, wasn't quite the friendliest it ever could have been."
Piers says Donald Trump has taken election defeat badly
Overnight, Mr Trump released a statement claiming Morgan "attempted to unlawfully and deceptively edit his long and tedious interview with me".
Responding, Morgan told Kelly: "He says it was a rigged election and he now says I have a rigged promo. All I would say is watch the interview - it will all be there. We won't be doing any duplicitous editing. The president, I am afraid, got very heated with me because he thinks that he should have won the last election.
"He has taken it very badly that he didn't and he has concocted a story with no evidence so far that it was all fraudulent, that the voting system was fraudulent and that he somehow had it stolen.
"I said to him, 'I don't believe that, I think you lost,' and he didn't like that so we had a very animated and heated discussion about it, which I think people will find fascinating."
What did Piers say about coming on Lorraine today?
Last week, Piers revealed he would be joining Lorraine Kelly on her sofa, while gearing up for his new gig over on TalkTV.
He shared: “I’ll be returning to ITV tomorrow for first time since the Markle debacle… live and definitely uncensored on Lorraine with the fabulous Lorraine Kelly – should be fun…”
Piers’ most famous public feuds
Piers has made a career out of his strong opinions – and doesn’t hold back, especially with celebrities.
In 2019, he accused Little Mix of using nudity to sell records, which singer Ariana Grande took exception to.
The journalist also accused Lady Gaga of only disclosing her struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder for her own personal benefit – which caused outrage on Twitter.
Author JK Rowling also found herself in the midst of a feud with Piers – in a Twitter argument which led Morgan to say: “This is why I’ve never read a single word of Harry Potter.”
In 2016, the journalist attacked celebrity Kim Kardashian West for sharing a nude photo, asking if she needed him to buy her some clothes.
But Kardashian rebuked: “Hey @piersmorgan never offer to buy a married woman clothes. That’s on some Ashley Madison type s***.”
One of Piers’ long-standing and most public feuds is with billionaire businessman Lord Alan Sugar – and the two men frequently attack each other on Twitter.
Standing at just over six feet tall, Piers has a good few inches on his sparring partner Lord Sugar.
The TV presenter has also had many verbal tussles with GMB weather presenter Alex Beresford.
And he resigned from Good Morning Britain after walking off the set following an argument with the weatherman surrounding the Meghan Markle CBS interview in March 2021.
