Britain’s Got Talent singer Faryl Smith is unrecognisable 14 years after wowing judges
BRITAIN'S Got Talent singer Faryl Smith is unrecognisable 14 years after wowing the judges with her incredible operatic voice.
Faryl, now 26, took to the stage of the ITV talent competition back in 2008 - when she was just a fresh-faced 12-year-old.
The young soprano wowed the season two judges - Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden - with her singing skills.
She took to the stage to perform Ave Maria, receiving a standing ovation from the audience and three 'yes' votes.
Faryl went all the way to the final of the show, but was pipped to the post by young dancer George Sampson to the winning spot.
Following the show, she did not sign with head judge Simon Cowell's record label Syco, instead joining Universal Classics and Jazz.

She was offered a £2.3million advance in December 2008 - the largest ever offer granted to a schoolgirl - ahead of her debut album.
Faryl released the album, named after her, in March of the following year, which became the fastest-selling classical album in UK history.
It debuted at number six in the charts and saw her nominated for two classical BRIT Awards in 2010.
She followed up with a second album, Wonderland, in the same year, before going on to study at Guildhall School of Music.

After finishing her studies, Faryl has gone on to perform at a number of major sporting events, including the Six Nations in 2019.
Faryl now looks all grown up compared to her fresh-faced appearance in 2008 - but still sports her long brunette tresses.
Her Instagram shows the grown-up star happily in a relationship with her beau Sam, who she often shares selfies with.
Faryl also revealed how she graduated from Guildhall School of Music and Dance earlier this year before going on to perform in their opera.
The singer isn't the only BGT child star to look totally different from their days on the ITV competition.
Yesterday, we revealed how Charlie Dixon is unrecognisable 14 years after performing with cute dance duo Cheeky Monkeys.
The dancer and performer rose to fame after making it all the way to the final of the ITV competition alongside his pal Krista Hyatt.
Charlie, now 22, was just eight years old when he was seen performing tumbles, splits and flips on in a series of thrilling routines.
