Katie Price ‘desperate for I’m A Celeb return for All Stars show filmed in South Africa’
KATIE Price has revealed she's desperate to return to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here as it returns for an All Stars show.
The former contestant - who took part in the hit ITV show back in 2004 - headed to her Instagram stories to share her enthusiasm.
Katie, 43, screenshotted an article which detailed the news of a spin-off I'm A Celeb set to be filmed in South Africa this year.
"Yes, get me in," she captioned the post to her Instagram stories, hinting to ITV that she's keen to get involved.
Now, a source has revealed that Katie got "straight on the phone" to the broadcaster as she's "desperate to go back".
"As soon as she knew it was happening Katie was straight on the phone to ITV," the insider exclusively told The Sun.

"She loved being on the show and now it's pre-recorded she won't get voted to do all the trials like her second stint on the show.
"She thinks of her first appearance in the jungle as one of the happiest times of her life - she met Pete, the public loved her and everyone could see 'the real her'.
"She's desperate to go back on the show. The only question is if she can do the tasks with her broken feet."
Katie's team had no comment when contacted by The Sun.
Katie first took part in the first series of the show back in 2004 - when she was known by her modelling name 'Jordan'.

She met ex-husband Peter Andre during her original stint - with the pair getting together and getting married shortly after.
The former glamour model returned to the jungle in 2009 - when she quit early when she was voted in for every trial.
She was thought to have asked for a fee of £350,000 to take part, but was not paid when she walked away from the show early.
When Katie was told she would be doing her seventh trial, that time with former boxer Joe Bugner, she decided she'd had enough.
It comes after The Sun revealed ITV bosses are planning on inviting back legendary camp mates for a pre-recorded I'm A Celeb show.

Bosses have come up with the plan to invite the “most loved and favourite” stars from past series.
Those likely to be asked back include Jungle Kings and Queens including Gino D’Acampo, Shaun Ryder and Vicky Pattison.
It will be filmed in Kruger National Park where, ironically, the Aussie version of the show is shot.
Producers will still shoot a normal series - featuring brand new stars - in Murwillumbah, New South Wales later this year.
The Best Of version will then likely air in early 2023, giving viewers THREE series in less than two years as the show switches back from Gwrych Castle, north Wales, to Down Under.
'PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED'
A TV source said: “Fans have been crying out for a Best Of series for years, and their prayers are being answered.
“The normal show will be filmed in Australia as planned, unless COVID makes it impossible again. The South African project is in no way a back-up, it’s a completely different series.
“It will see all of the iconic names who have made the show so popular over the years return to the campfire and battle it out to be crowned the Best Of champion.
“There are so many to choose from and they’re sounding out the most talked-about ones now.
“Ant and Dec will host all three series as normal, and the South African version will still be based in the world of I’m A Celeb.
“The camp mates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists on the format.
