SAS: Who Dares Wins viewers think they have already worked out who the mole is in the group.

Tonight’s show started with the recruits being made to fall backwards into sea – but one person decided to turn it into a dive.

The recruit – number 12, called James Stammers – was slammed by the furious staff for the move.

The rest of the group were punished, as number 12 was made to shout orders at them.

Those watching at home suspected there was more to it than meets the eye, with one tweeting: “I spy a mole number 12! #SASWhoDaresWins.”

A second added: “I bet number 12 is the mole and that was all set up 😆 #SASWhoDaresWins.”

While a third questioned: “No12 James - I smell a mole. Ex forces perhaps?  #SASWhoDaresWins.”

James ended up walking while the rest were being beasted, but fans think it might not be the last we see of him.

In past series there has been a mole in the ranks, who is actually a part of the directing staff.

Prior to going on the show James revealed his appearance on the show was in a bid to help him find his brother who has been missing for 10 years.

James lives in Bristol but grew up in Essex with his parents, older sister and younger brother Anthony, who vanished aged 27 on the day of their grandfather’s funeral.

He told the family he had to run an errand and would meet them at the funeral, but he never arrived and hasn’t been seen since.

Now James, 40, hopes his brother will turn up alive after his appeal on the show.

Asked why he decided to take part in SAS: Who Dares Wins, James said: "So many reasons; I was turning 40 and feel the best I’ve ever felt so wanted to put myself to the test.

"I’ve never really been broken down so I wanted to know how much I could endure and where or how I might break.

"My brother disappeared 10 years ago, so I also wanted to create awareness of that through my presence and story within the show."
