I resorted to drug dealing & eating from bins after my teacher sexually abused me, says Freeze The Fear’s Patrice Evra
FREEZE The Fear's Patrice Evra has revealed how he used to deal drugs and beg on the streets after being driven to the dark side by sexual abuse from his school teacher.
The former Man Utd and France legend is taking part in the BBC One series hosted by Holly Willoughby and Lee Mack.
In tonight's episode, while playing two truths and a lie with his fellow celebrities, he says he used to eat cold Big Macs out of dustbins after being left rudderless when his dad left aged 13.
Patrice, 40, says: “I did like three things before playing football.”
Tamzin Outhwaite replies: “Put them in any order you want just don’t include football.”
Patrice makes everyone gasp as he says: “Selling drugs" before continuing: “Begging in front of the shop, for money, and working in a TV shop. One is not true.”

After his fellow celebs try to guess which one was the false claim, he says: “I didn’t sell TV. The other two are true. I was like 13.”
Gabby Logan is shocked and says: “13? When both of those happened. So you got involved with a bad bunch.”
Patrice replies: “Begging in front of the shop that for me, that was like normal.
"Sometime even at midnight when they throw the cold big macs, we were like going on the bin and eating all those cold big macs.

“I think when my dad left it was like chaos.”
Gaby then asks how he got out, and Patrice explains: "The football saved me. When I was 17 I travelled in Italy, I remember when we arrived and we were sitting all the time and they were serving us food and I get in my room.
"And I had a tracksuit, I wear the tracksuit and I call my Mum and say ‘Mum here is like heaven, people serving us food, its like two fork in one side, two knife in one side.” that's my best memory."
However, Patrice also shares how he was abused by his head teacher when he was 13.

In a piece to camera he says: “Being sexually abused at the age of 13 had a massive impact on my life. You just feel shame about your self.
“When these things you don't trust the authority because it was my head teacher, you just don't trust anybody else."
