Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin in saucy on-air slip up as she makes naughty joke about her husband

LAURA Tobin risked the wrath of her husband Dean on Good Morning Britain today.

The TV weather presenter sparked laughter around the ITV studio when she accidentally said she was in an open marriage.

The show meteorologist suffered the blunder after a conversation about who will play Kate Middleton in Netflix series The Crown.

GMB host Susanna Reid commented that Laura bares a striking resemblance to the royal and could audition.

Laura, 40, replied: "Well I actually have a (daughter) Charlotte so I’m halfway there, I just need two more children.

"And a husband called William. So if you could work on that, while I do the weather."

Susanna asked: "What will Dean say?" and Laura added with a wave of her hand: "He’s fine, he’ll let me go with anyone."

The studio erupted into giggles and there were gasps from Susanna's co-host Ed Balls, before Laura screeched: "I don't mean it like that! Let's move on to the weather."

After the break Laura explained herself, saying: "Just to clarify, because Kate Middleton wouldn’t say that!

"He may happily palm me off.

Remembering how she fell into the trap, she added: "My audition isn't going well!"

The Sun revealed The Crown bosses have started their hunt for a ‘stunning’ Kate Middleton lookalike to play the royal in the final series of of Netflix show.

The sixth season covers the period from 1997 into the early Noughties, which is when the future king and queen first met at St Andrew’s University.

But as Kate would only be a relatively small supporting role, the casting team only want to feature her if they can find an actress who captures her English Rose looks.
