KIM Kardashian and Pete Davidson narrowly missed a run in with the comic's ex-girlfriend at the Met Gala on Monday.
Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor arrived at the event before the couple.
The British actress, 27, hit the Met Gala red carpet in a sheer black gown with filigree accents on the torso and ruffles at her hips.
Her red hair appeared darkened, in waves cascading down her back.
She kept her makeup subtle, wearing winged eyeliner and a light pink lipstick.
The Netflix star accessorized with large earrings, which appeared to feature a mix of diamonds and gemstones.
Another ex of Pete's – Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford's daughter – also attended the Met Gala.
She walked the red carpet with her hair curled in massive waves and wore an Alexander McQueen gown.
Phoebe and Kaia both arrived at the fashion event well before Kim, 41, and Pete, 28.
Before the KKW Beauty mogul and Saturday Night Live comic were an item, Pete was linked with the Colour Room star.
The duo were first rumored to be an item in March 2021 when a Facebook account called noted that the King of Staten Island star was visiting the town outside of Manchester where Phoebe was spotted days later.

The Sun exclusively reported at the time that he was there to see her.
"Pete is a real charmer and has hit it off with Phoebe, who is obviously beautiful and talented. They have been enjoying each other's company, although they haven't known each other long," the source said at the time.
"The fact he has flown all the way to the UK shows how interested he is."
OVER AND DONE
The relationship fizzled fast, however.
In April 2021, Us Weekly that Pete and Phoebe were dating long distance.
A source told the outlet they were "going strong," communicating largely through FaceTime and texts.
The insider added: "They're not looking to rush things."
Pete and Phoebe were said to be "seeing where their relationship goes" and "trying to make long distance work."
They made their first appearance as a couple at Wimbledon in July 2021.
The pair were seen kissing, laughing and cuddling close in the stands.
They attended day six of the championships, watching a match up between Roger Federer and Cameron Norrie.
The following month, however, it was widely reported that they had called it quits.
Pete and Phoebe had only been dating for five months at the time.
An insider told The Sun of the breakup: “Pete and Phoebe’s romance was a real whirlwind and from the start they were both totally committed. But as time has passed, it’s become increasingly obvious it is going to be difficult to make this work.
“Phoebe has had back-to-back filming dates with Bridgerton in the UK. Meanwhile, Pete has been back in the US filming Saturday Night Live. Alongside that he has just started working on a new film, Meet Cute, with Kaley Cuoco.
“Phoebe and Pete were last together in the UK in July but since he flew back to the States, he’s not seen her. Obviously all the travel restrictions because of the pandemic have not helped.
“People can’t just jump on planes and jet around the world when they want to. It has made everything more difficult. It was pretty telling when Phoebe headed to Croatia with her mates this week rather than going to see Pete in America.
“It was wild while it lasted and they both really care for each other. But the distance has put a strain on them.
“Their mates think they make a great couple but the distance has made it completely unworkable. They had fun and will remain close but unless something drastic changes their relationship won’t recover.”
A source similarly told at the time: "The distance put a strain on the relationship and it made it hard to maintain."
The insider added that the exes "had a great time while they were together."
SKETE'S ON
Roughly two months after their split, the New York native was linked to Kim.
The couple was first spotted holding hands at Knott's Scary Farm, which they visited with Kourtney Kardashian and her fiancé Travis Barker.
Things have heated up between the duo in the months since.
They attended the Kardashians premiere together in April taking photos separately on the red carpet and, just recently, were photographed together at the White House Correspondents dinner.
Kim wore a metallic silver outfit as she posed with her beau, while the comedian opted for a classic black suit.
