Davina McCall fights back tears over moment she slammed her head on car steering wheel
DAVINA McCall's new documentary has received incredible praise since it aired last night.
Sex, Mind and the Menopause aired on Channel 4 on Monday, May 2, and saw the presenter explore the true impact of menopause on women, especially in the workplace.
During the show, Davina also delved into the perimenopause, its symptoms, and spoke to numerous women whose lives had been changed as a result.
The 54-year-old explained that she'd started feeling the effects of perimenopause from the age of 44, and that at one point she "though I'd have to quit presenting".
Speaking to a woman who'd lost her job as a result of menopause, Davina recalled her own struggles, saying: "It's like a flash.
"I remember just sitting in my car, putting my head against the steering wheel and just crying".
Viewers of the show flooded to Twitter to praise Davina and her show.
