'I DON'T MISS IT'
I am not completely suicidal now I’ve left the BBC but it drove me to the edge, reveals Andrew Marr
IT’S been six months since Andrew Marr quit the BBC after 21 years’ service.
And he has admitted that only now does he feel he is finally recovering.
Andrew, the BBC’s former Political Editor, said: “It is absolutely exhausting. I did it from 7am for the Today programme right to Newsnight until 11pm, every day.
“Because I am not completely suicidal, I don’t miss it.”
Andrew said during the recording of Matt Forde’s Political Party podcast, out soon, that even the public felt sorry for him because of his workload.
He added: “I was in Waitrose and this guy came up and said, ‘You look like that Andrew Marr from the Waitrose . You poor bugger’.”
