Duggar fans ’embarrassed’ for Jed after he admits he can’t read time on clock in new video with Katey about son’s birth
JED Duggar has had an embarrassing moment on camera as he admitted he couldn't read a clock in a new video with his wife, Katey.
The blunder happened while the couple was filming a home video documenting their son's birth.
Jed and Katey - who welcomed their first child together on Monday - shared the first part of their newborn's birthing story in a video.
The over 12-minute video detailed the days leading up to their son's arrival, including their time in the hospital when Katy was in labor.
While fans commented with good wishes for the new parents, some pointed out Jed's faux pas in one part of the clip.
The part in question occurred while the couple discussed their doctor's plans for inducing labor.

Jed focused the camera on his wife before panning towards the clock hanging on the wall.
"Right now, the time is - somebody read that clock for me," the father-of-one said as he struggled to read the time.
Katey came to his rescue, reciting the time to be 9:25pm.
Jed then told viewers, "I could do it; it would just take me a couple of seconds extra," as Katey laughed at her husband's admission.
users mocked the 23-year-old for "not knowing how to read a clock," calling the mishap "embarrassing."
Another fan agreed, commenting: "This is a pretty basic skill to be missing."
A third person echoed the statement, adding: "Literally. Imagine being a father and having to ask someone to tell you the time. Also even if no one taught you, surely you’d learn on your own. If 6-year-olds can figure it out it’s obviously not that hard."
And a fourth referenced the entire Duggar clan, who obtained their education through homeschooling, writing: "Several of them have shown difficulty reading analog clocks. I'm willing to bet that wasn't a big part of their curriculum."
BIRTH STORY: PART 1
Elsewhere in Part 1 of their vlog, the pair talked about questions they've been asked in the final days of their pregnancy.
The first-time mom said: "Those are the two things I get: 'How are you feeling?' and 'When's your due date?'"
Jed chimed in: "I will say, it's like we tell everybody every week at church, and then they ask again."
Before Katie revealed, the couple had a few laughs, "my body is definitely getting into labor mode."
Jed then filmed Katey, 23, revealing that the duo was preparing to head to the hospital "to get induced."
They showed off their nursery, which had their packed bags in it.
Katey told viewers: "This has been ready for a while."
She showed off the baby's closet, dresser, crib, and more.
BABY'S ARRIVAL
The Counting On alums announced they were expecting their first baby together in September 2021.
On Monday, the proud parents took to social media to share their little boy with the world with an adorable Instagram photo of the youngster in the hospital.
They revealed the name of their only child in the caption: "He’s here! We love you so much, baby True!
"Truett Oliver Duggar
