Britain’s Got Talent fans spot ‘huge giveaway’ to Witch’s real identity – and claim rotten apple was ‘a clue’
BRITAIN's Got Talent fans have spotted a "huge giveaway" to Witch’s real identity - and claim a rotten apple was the key clue.
The act, which left Amanda Holden screaming and Alesha Dixon running from her seat in terror, saw a crone appear on stage.
The creepy crone has been dubbed the series' scariest act ever after stalking the panel handing out apples last week - one of which exploded in a shower of cockroaches and mealworms.
But Britain's Got Talent fans think they know who the witch is thanks to the exploding red apple.
Sofa detectives have suggested the creepy crawlies are in fact a nod to BGT hosts Ant and Dec and their other hit show, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Many also insisted they spotted Declan Donnelly's eyes beneath the witch's wrinkly skin and raggy hair.

One person took to Twitter to and shared their theory, writing: "Ya know how ant and Dec Always look like Any and Dec in ‘undercover’ even with all that makeup on… and nobody sees it’s them… I’m getting pure Dec vibes off that witch!!"
Another surmised: "I really enjoyed that act! The fact there were actually bugs in the apple!"
A third wrote: "Are those bugs gonna star in #ImACeleb ? #BGT
Ant and Dec are probably signing them up for it."
However, many also suspect it was really the show's master illusionist Marc Spelmann in a heavy disguise.
